A truly unforgettable stay! This bungalow exceeded all expectations — the view over the lake is absolutely stunning and creates such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Every little detail of the place is thoughtfully designed, making it feel both cozy and unique. We especially loved the presence of the cat and the ducks, which added such a charming and authentic touch to the experience. The location is perfect: very close to the windmills in Zaandijk and not far from Amsterdam, making it easy to explore while still enjoying a quiet escape. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, even allowing us extra flexibility with check-in and check-out, which we really appreciated. Honestly, this place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. I have absolutely zero negative points to mention. I highly, highly recommend it — don’t hesitate to book, you won’t regret it!

“Cosy Cottage in a Charming Area”

Perfect size cottage separate from the hosts house. It was warm and cosy, and everything was clean. The view was just so nice too. Very picturesque, very calming. A perfect BnB. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and we immediately felt right at home. By the end of our booking, we just wanted to stay longer!

everything was perfect! cozy cabin, clean, beautiful place with a very friendly host.. enjoy our stay here for 2 nights.. would absolutely recommend it and repeat again in the future if possible.. my son enjoyed the stay so much! he get the chance to feed the ducks, play with cats, n collect eggs from the chickens😂..

The place is super cosy, filled with beautiful and personal touches to create a homely stay rich with dutch flavour. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view out onto the lake, watching the birdlife was wonderful. My highlight was really enjoying cuddles with Bram the sweet ginger cat who visited me at the cabin and made sure I didn't feel alone.

Our host was very welcoming. We had a lovely time there. It's a small town, but has a bus to Zaandam train station, where you can catch a train to Amsterdam. It is very peaceful place, one can really relax and unwind. Room is cozy, small but big enough for a couple. We felt really welcomed, especially by our special host, the cat 😺
