Surrounded by the beautiful mountain scenery of the Kitzbühel Alps, the Gasthof Aschenwald is located in the Moosen district of Westendorf, only 14 km away from Kitzbühel. The nearby gondola lift, which is only 700 metres away, gives you convenient access to Austria’s biggest contiguous ski area, Wilder Kaiser/Brixental. The centre of Westendorf, with its numerous shops, restaurants and bars, is about a 15-minute walk away. “Very comfortable for family, good location to move around the Alps.”
Good stay, good facilities in the new renovated part of the hotel. Very friendly family run hotel with attention to detail. Perfect for family stay, we have 2 small children, and from there move around the Alps.

“Terrific ski stay, can’t wait for summer visit.”
This is a family run business and they are very warm people. The property itself is also nice, feels fresh while keeping with the local esthetic. Location was great, less than 3 mins by car from gondola. Ski bus pick up right outside too. Onsite dinner was delicious.

“Easy and nice 1 night stay”
Good location for staying in Kitzbühel area. We had 1 night stay for Grossglockner trip, so it was easy to continue from here. Clean rooms and nice staff.
