“Appalling and very disappointing”

Very friendly staff met us with key and gave a short tour.

Perfect little place with everything required for a comfortable peaceful stay - very comfy bed/sheets!

“It was uncomfortable and sterile.”

No breakfast served. No radio, no tv. Smelly bedroom and smelly bed that looked unclean. I advised the owner in the morning and he grabbed sheets and comforter from another bedroom. The bathroom was dirty and cold. It was not comfortable even with sheets taken from other bed that stale bed smell lingered and I will never return to this place. It was cold as far as hospitality was concerned.

“Basic”

The room was bigger than expected. There was privacy and calm, with basic amenities including a microwave and fridge. The hosts were very helpful with directions ahead of time.

I was VERY disappointed that there was no free cancellation despite the very difficult access/parking arrangements not being made known to me until AFTER the fee was paid! I'm extremely disappointed that Booking.com permits this. The property is NOT an Inn in the accepted meaning of the word but the basement of a private house consequently the address given does not appear on Google maps.

It was very convenient to ferry. Beds comfortable. Quiet location.

The host was great, very kind, responsive, and hospitable :) Very clean and comfortable beds. My friends and I felt very welcomed at his place. Also the sunrise & sunset views were beautiful! We would happily come back if we had to stay somewhere close to Horseshoe Bay

“Not as expected”

The address we were given was not correct so it took us ages to find the location. The rooms we were given/ and therefore the view does not match the photos on the listing. The property and garden could do with a refurbishment before being available for stays. Note- it is not an Inn, but the downstairs flat of someone’s house.

Great for our quick stopover. Large rooms, quiet location.

“Dirty & Gross!”

Very dirty, like nothing gets vacuumed or cleaned, even the towels were gross and dirty with brown marks from whomever used them before us arriving. All around the bottom of the bed frame was food debri and dust, really disgusting place to stay. We didn't even want to sleep in the bed, for fear the sheets and bedding don't get cleaned, but it was late and we had no choice, so we slept on top the bedding instead.

The property was clean and spacious. Beautiful Chinese furniture. Stunning views and lovely garden to sit in with the evening sun. 20min walk for the beach.

Awesome view and beautiful location. Very quite and a great host. Good communication. Big potential. Would come back for few nights. Also 2 very comfy beds, we slept very very well.
