Very good and convenient hotel. Nicely located in west Kelowna close to the high but also not far from the lake. Downtown Kelowna is a 10 minute drive.

There are hotels with good service. There are hotels with exceptional service. And then there is the DoubleTree in West Kelowna. Every member of the staff, from the cleaning lady over the receptionists to the director, shows an incredible amount of dedication and hospitality. I travel quite a bit, but I have rarely encountered a hotel team, that is this friendly and welcoming, even by Canadian standards, which I think says a lot. A big thanks goes out to the director Paul, who helped us out greatly with an unforeseen situation, unrelated to our stay in the Okanagan Valley. The hotel itself is awesome, too. It's very new and modern, rooms are spacious and well-equiped. Loved the shower. We had a scenic view of the hills from our window. The hotel features a couple of nice amenities such as a big pool and a fitness center. For our purposes, the location was great, too. It's situated right on the edge of town, meaning you're on the Okanagan Highway in an instant and can perfectly explore the westeren shore of the lake from there. There are gas stations and restaurants nearby, also a couple of shops and nice breakfast places. The restaurant directly attached to the Hotel, Turtle Jack's. is also well-worth a visit. Great service and tasty, quality food, I'd recommend the chicken fajitas. Overall our stay was virtually perfect and way better than what could normally be expected. Unequivocal recommendation. At the time of our visit, the rates were very reasonable, too, thus the value for the price was unbeatable. Keep up the great work and thanks for the very enjoyable time ... and the cookies =) !
