“Lovely, quiet, wooden cabins out back”

Bus (Ruta 2 from Coxen Hole) drops off 50m from hotel. Dive centre, hotel and hostel with wooden cabins all rolled into one, with onsite café for food and drinks. Lovely, helpful, English (and Spanish) speaking staff. Extremely clean environment. Key to cabins out back. Excellent wifi/internet/network throughout. Small kitchen 'hut' with basics (4 ring gas hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Compost bin for uncooked food waste. Table and chairs to eat at outside (sheltered from rain). A great deal is emphasised on environmental protection, Plenty of recycling bins, and lots of reminders to switch things off when not in use and to conserve energy. We stayed in one of the lovely back cabins, consisting of a sheltered front porch with seating, hammock and clothes drying lines. Inside bedroom with ceiling fan & extra stand up fan. Small double bed and separate single bed. 2 rails with plenty of clothes hangers and 2 little tables Plenty of lights and some powerpoints around room. Light switch by side of bed. Small bathroom with hot shower! Plenty of towel hooks and shelves. So far, this has been the best 'backpacker' accommodation we've stayed in throughout Honduras. The pictures on booking.com do not do the cabins justice, they are far nicer than they look!

Budget place but perfect value for money. Next to the beach. You can snorkel and see quite a lot of fish from the very same beach. It is possible to join as a snorkeler the diver crew every afternoon at a cheap price.

The location was ideal, real great combination for if you want to dive and stay at the island. Get put of your bed, head for some breakfast and go straight to your diving gear, perfect!

“Very nice stay”

We had really nice stay at chillies. Room was comfortable and there was a lot of shared space in the house. Kitchen is well equipped and the other room was free so we had whole house to ourselves. WiFi was working good, and dives with them were fun!

“Perfect place in Roatan”

I spent one week there for diving and everything was wonderful. Thanks so much to Alex and KC for such nice dives. I hope i can return there as soon as possible

We loved staying in the cabins. It's in a forest area so we stayed cool with the fans. We loved relaxing in the hammocks after a morning of scuba diving. Staff was friendly, it was great to be able to cook some meals in the kitchen and it's close to everything.

Cabinas were nice and clean, comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen. Friendly owners and an excellent dive shop with very experienced divemasters Alex and Casey. Brst boat in Roatan, fair dive prices and you will get a full 60 minute dive unlike other places in Roatan where they pull you out of the water after 45 minutes regardless of what is left in everyones tank. Right across from Half Moon brach for sunsets. All good, will return

“Very comfortable studio surrounded by lush vegetation steps from the beach”

The property is right across the street from the beach. The studio was roomy, clean, with very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The view is of lush vegetation and in the early morning you are awakened by birdsong and the pecking of woodpeckers. The staff is great, very cheerful and the owner was really helpful and friendly. The famous baleada restaurant “Yahongreh?” is on the premises, in front of the dive center. Would definitely stay there again.

I came specifically for diving and I got an awesome package with this hotel. I had a nice cabin, with everything I could wish for. The price for this hotel is very good compared to the other hotels on Roatán, but compared to hondurian prices it could be better. It's also very expensive to reach in my opinion with taxis costing between 20-30$. I really liked the diving they offered, since I could always dive 60min and I didn't have to surface with the "air guzzlers" which you usually have to. The corals are awesome, just a bit lacking in wild life, but I can hardly fault my lovely hosts for that.
