Dorothee had messaged excellent directions to the chalet and had thought of nice touches such as snacks, water, milk, tea, coffee, toiletries in the room as well as a guide with suggested hikes and emergency contacts. Overall a brilliant stay in an exceptionally clean room, would highly recommend.

Very clean, plenty of amenities a one minute walk to a beautiful view of the valley and about 5 min walk (up hill) to the train station. Wonderful host Dorothee so friendly and welcoming. Absolutely recommend staying here

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Loved the terrace. Appreciated the snack bowl and all the touches throughout. The host had really thought about what a guest might need. The host were very friendly and helpful.

Wengen is a beautiful car-free village in the mountains. Chalet Alpina Gyger is a comfortable cosy separate room in a lovely home, with a village view. You have an outdoor patio to sit, and if you are lucky the flock of local sheep might pass through the village tinkling their bells. Transport is by foot remember! Dorothée and Peter we're great hosts. Too spot to explore the Jungfrau walks and mountain adventures.

Easy to find location, 5 minutes walk from the train station; the host Dorothee is very kind and patient, provided a lot of practical travel information; The room is large, with plenty of space for relaxation and dining. The room is very clean and has smell of woods, which is very relaxing.

The apartment is really cozy, beautiful and clean. And the lady is really nice.

Host was very hospitable and friendly, apartment was huge and has everything. Will definitely stay in this place if i ever return to wengen

The property was really stocked, the bathroom had everything that we needed as did the kitchenette to make a basic meal. Above and beyond what we expected. Property was very clean. There was some information about walks we can do in the area and we were given great recommendations which can be done from the town. The Coop supermarket is only a short walk away as are restaurants and shops.

Dorothee was such an incredible host and we loved staying in her beautiful chalet. She always made herself available and checked in on us once to see how we were doing. Her directions on how to arrive there were especially helpful! It was decorated beautifully and we felt right at home. One huge plus about the location was that Lauterbrunnen was only one short train ride down the mountain that ran every 30 minutes. This allowed us to see the incredible valley of Lauterbrunnen everyday but live in the more peaceful area of Wengen. It was well priced and overall such a wonderful place to call home while adventuring the different areas of Switzerland!
