“Nice central room”
Location very close to transport. Welcome tea was a nice surprise. Family was very helpful and welcoming. Pleasant room.

“Okay for a stopover”
You get what you pay for. The breakfast was very good. The owner is very (too) friendly. If you really need to stay here you really need an AC room.. if there is one.

The hosts take an enormous amount of care to make their guests are treated well and feel happy. On arrival we were greated with a pot of tea and advice about the area, where to eat and an offer to visit the famous cliff Buddha statues at Buduruwagala. Which are definitely worth the tuktuk trip. Water is always on tap. The Sri Lankan breakfast for 2 cooked by mama host would have been enough for 4. Wonderful! The place is a green oasis in the town centre. Even the shower water was cold from the hills towards Ella.

We had overnight stay at Dinimuthu Rest Inn on the way to Yala park. The room was simple but clean, Mr. Ranga was really kind and helpful. The breakfast is really big and tasty. The location is 5 minutes walking from the bus station. In general good value for the money.

Had a solid stay. Rangan was a great host and took us to a local's only viewpoint where we took in the view and may have enjoyed a few Lion lagers.

“I can recommend this place!”
our room was clean and comfortable with conditioning. The host was very polite and helped us with all requests! We felt at home. Also a very big advantage in this hotel is the presence of an electric generator. We had power when there was no power in the town. The hotel is located close to the main bus station.
