Location is great short walk to the beach, very affordable and extremely comfortable bed. Great host who’s super accommodating.

“Nice long stay with kitchen !”

Nice for a long stay, the room is spacious and well equipped. The kitchen is also usefull if you don't want to eat at the restaurant for every meal. There is a big supermarket 10 min by foot. My room was next to the road so be sure to bring earplugs and that's ok, less trafic by night.

Host is lovely, brought us watermelon and coconuts every morning! WiFi is also very good and only 5-10 minutes walk from the beach

One of the best stay in Sri Lanka! The owner is the friendliest and the most generous person ever and the room is spacious and the bed is big and comfortable! Also the ceiling fan and regular floor fan combo makes sure you can cool the room down! Will definitely come back when in Weligama

Nice 2 bedroom apartment with kitchenette. Well located in Weligama overlooking the river. Sisira was kind host offering welcome drinks and Sri Lankan breakfasts.

Host was the nicest. Fresh coconuts and water bottles whenever I walked in and when I asked where I should do my laundry he took it and had it back clean in 5 hours.

The location is accessible from anywhere!

The room was spacious and had everything needed. I even worked from my room - WiFi worked well the whole time. But the best part was for sure the host. He welcomed me with fresh mango and a coconut. And than served me every morning a big breakfast, mango and water. The location is also perfect. You can walk anywhere.

Everything is great, there is a private kitchen, hot water, huge bed, daily free coconut water from lovely host Sisira. And the location is amazing as well 5 mins walk to the Weligama Beach. This is the best price/budget option you can find anywhere near here.

I had an incredible stay here. The location is absolutely perfect—close to everything yet still peaceful. But what truly made my visit special was the owner. He is one of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve met in Sri Lanka. He went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home, helping with every little request with a huge smile. If you’re looking for a place where you’re treated like family, this is it. Highly recommended!

The hospitality and the positive attitude of the host. He was so welcoming and understanding.

This was a good value stay hosted by a very kind man. I was greeted with a refreshing coconut by Sisira and invited to sit by the river. My room was good size, especially the bed which was more than king size and comfortable. There was hot shower and ample fans to keep cool. Sisira was attentive but not intrusive. He provided breakfast to me at no charge and organized a tuk tuk for my departure. The guesthouse was only a short distance from the restaurants, beach etc so I didn't need a scooter or even tuk tuk. I would recommend this if you are looking to be in walking distance to everything and are on a budget.

“Best host & best breakfast!!”

We have had such a lovely stay here! The rooms are spacious and has a very well equipped kitchen. Bathroom is big and has hot showers! We had a gorgeous view of the river and it was so much fun spotting all the wildlife (we saw a mongoose!). Location is excellent. Walking distance to beach clubs and the best surf lessons. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Nothing is more than a 10 min walk. Tuktuks nearby so easy to get a ride to mirissa too. Best part of this stay however is our host Sisira!! He is the kindest person and the best host. We were treated to the most delicious filling breakfasts every morning followed by a gorgeous platter of fruits and big bottles of drinking water then a fresh coconut!! It was insanely good and incredible value for money with the stay! Sisira is so lovely that when I had to miss breakfast (to go to a jewellery making class), he said he would make me lunch instead- SO kind. Thank you for such a lovely stay :)

“Amazing hospitality”

Sisira the host is absolutely amazing! We arrived really early to drop our bags but he took us straight to our room and offered to make us lunch (for free), when we got back later in the evening he gave us fresh coconuts, mango and bottled water! He also made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. Sisira’s hospitality is what makes staying here such a special experience and we are so grateful! Basic room, the bed was super comfortable and the shower had hot water!!

The most hospitable host I have ever met. Best reviews. Allowed to stay in the apartment after check-out time, excellent breakfast and fresh fruits. Large rooms, nice view of the river from the third floor apartment. About 500 meters walk to the sea. Safe place. Perfect mattress and very clean, white bed linen. There is air conditioning and several fans. Hot water. The best option for the price what you paid. The only suggestion is to maybe sweep the staircase more thoroughly and paint the wall in the room by the dining table whiter.

Convenient location. The accommodation is a 10-minute walk from the sea and surf spots. Close to restaurants and Cargills. Wonderful, responsive host, ready to help with everything you need. Extended stay without any problems. Delicious and filling breakfasts at a convenient time. The air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and refrigerator worked perfectly. Overall, excellent value for money. I would happily stay here again.
