Right on the beach and nice people. Room was nice, good bed, ceiling fan, AC. Bathroom was pretty basic but clean and functional. Food was really good too. Had a great rice and curry.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! It’s prime location on the beach with its own restaurant too! Kumara who owns it was super helpful and just a genuinely great guy, greeting us with high fives everytime he saw us, you can do surf lessons with the school here all the staff are lush! It’s such a great location too with easy access to restaurants and shops

“Hidden gem!”
Perfect location in a peacefully place outside of the city center and trafic. Room upstesrs was really good and the beach is 50 meters from the apartment. There is also good restaurant in the beach and surfschool/board rental. So basically here is everything you need, you can just take easy and surf here without crowds! Perfect place

“We overall liked it. The staff was very nice. The only thing we didn’t like was the bathroom.”
Right in front of the ocean, perfect for surfers. On the side of the bay that doesn’t get too crowded. They also offer surf lessons/ surf rental. AC in the room, comfortable and big bed.

The staff did it all. And the fact that the place is located right on the beach and has it all!! Relax in a hammock, sunbathe in the sun or in the shade. Surf, eat. Its all right there. And the staff is the best. I loved them all. We booked 2 nights at first but ended up staying a week ad a half!

Great stay at The Sea View Villa Surf School. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, and a peaceful location right by the ocean. Surf lessons were excellent with skilled and patient instructors. Good food — especially the fresh seafood. I travelled solo and felt very safe here. The price matched the quality. Loveliest host, Kumara you are the nicest and most genuine lovely surf and restaurant/room owner we have met in Weligama! Beautiful hidden restaurant and beach, way less crowded. Simple rooms with massive comfortable king-size beds.

“Amazing Stay and Surf”
Great value for money! Perfect place to chill and surf. Family running the place are great and always trying to make you feel at home! I stayed for a few days and they also arranged a few great surf lessons right in front of the property. Nothing is too hassle for them and the location is priceless.

It is a very simple accommodation but has a good location on the beach, so it was easy to go for a swim or surf. Bed had a mosquito net which was great.
