The Glade Weligama is a wonderful place to relax and unwind, especially if you enjoy a peaceful natural environment. Although it is a little far from the town center, the quiet location adds to its charm and makes it perfect for a calm getaway. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The swimming pool is clean and well-maintained, providing a great spot to chill and enjoy the surroundings. The atmosphere is refreshing with plenty of greenery, making it an ideal escape from busy city life. Overall, a great choice for comfort, nature, and relaxation.

Great rooms, everything was clean and well maintained. The only small downside is that there is just one air conditioner in the villas, so it can get a bit warm upstairs during the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located slightly away from the center of Weligama, which actually makes it even better — it’s very quiet and peaceful in the evenings.

“Private villa, by the river”

Firstly I must congratulate the owners of this property on the arrival of a new born baby. This is a special place, situated 2.5km out of Wiligama. A total of 5 units, all of them amazing. Tottaly private. I Tottaly 5 star, and will only get better as some of the plants grow from the sunken garden. I spent 3 nights here as a solo traveller and Ranidu made every effort to ensure I went for nothing. Sorted me a bike, tuk tuk, where to go and what to see which are not on any tourist map. There are to riverside cabanas where crocodiles can me seen, along with jumping fish and birds and chipmunks. This place is as cool as it comes and for the price of a hostle double room plus a couple of quid.

The place is a vibe and then some. It is better than it looks in the photos. It's still kinda coming up with additions and has HUGE potential. The A houses are beautiful with a lovely bedroom upstairs and a living room integrated with a small kitchen down. The surroundings are wild, in all meanings. With the backwaters next to the property means, regular visits from peacocks, squirrels , birds and once In a while crocodile sighting. It's 5-10 minutes from the main town on a bike, with a lovely ride. Beautiful place. Sandeep was very very helpful in arranging a scooty for us immediately and also with any sort of requests we had. Love the stay.

“Fantastic host, lovely place”

We were pleasantly surprised to find we had our own kitchen, lounge and dining areas, which we thought were shared. There is also a washing machine which is very handy. The property is in very good condition and the pool area is lovely even though there are plans to continue to develope the outside area. Ranidu the host was excellent. A very good manager. He brought things we hadn't thought of like salt and pepper and the few things we did need were promptly supplied. He even left a Valentines card and rose for me. Such a sweet, kind, caring person.

This property exceeded my expectations. Nice atmosphere and very clean comfy apartments. The staff was great too. They were very friendly and helpful. So much love for this place and we are definitely coming back. We went for valentines day and they arranged a card and a rose for us. Highly recommend this place.

“We had such a wonderful time”

We stayed here for several weeks and had a wonderful time. The accommodation is perfect for working: Internet and electricity were very stable. The property is right next to the river and beautifully maintained: lots of flowers, plants, a large parking lot, the highlight are definitely the pavilions. You feel like you're in the jungle and you regularly see peacocks, monkeys and colorful birds. The owner was very accommodating and nice, we were also able to do our laundry on site and he was always available if we needed anything. The accommodation is not directly in the city area, so it is advisable to hire a scooter or tuk-tuk.
