Lovely host and excellent place to stay. Rooms were clean and overall it was very good value. Would happily come back.

The property is located next to a river. If you like wildlife, you will spot a lot of lizards, birds and even crocodiles in the river. The place is very quit, even though it’s just a 5 min walk to the beach and the Main Street. The owner is very caring, does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible! He even speaks German. The rooms are big, you get everything you need like a/c, a fridge and a hairdryer. It’s a very good place to stay if you want to go to Weligama !

Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay longer than one night due to a strong mold smell in the room even though I payed for 7 nights. Additionally, the owner frequently messaged me asking to be informed whenever I entered or left the property, which felt intrusive. After I left an honest review, the owner contacted me again to lecture me about posting it. Overall, this made the stay uncomfortable.

Everyhting was wonderful with a very kind host who cares about you haveing a good stay. It was nice to stay by the river as it was a change from the beach. Quiet as well. The beach is about 10 min walk from the property.

Everything was as expected and much more, Sanju is a great host and will gladly come again. The proximity of the beach, friendliness of the neighborhood, good Wi-Fi, beautiful backyard directly on the river is quite a sight. All in all a unique experience and very good rooms. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a beautiful and peaceful place to stay im Weligama.

Sanju is an amazing host. Close to the ocean. Very clean, great facilities, perfect location, amazing breakfast.

Sanju, the owner, is very welcoming, and keeps the place spotlessly clean. The room I stayed in was a good size and the bed very comfortable, with the added benefit of a mosquito net. The breakfast was excellent too.
