“Kind hosts, great location!”

The location was superb - the beach is a 5 minute walk away. All the major areas like ahangama, weligama, mirissa, unawatuna etc are all a 10-20 minutes ride away. We rented a scooter from them and visited all these places easily. The neighbourhood is very peaceful. But what stood out for us the most were the hosts - uncle and aunty - who were so kind, warm and hospitable! It almost felt like living with parents :) rooms were clean but basic and good go up to 2 people. I highly recommend living with Malika aunty and uncle when you are in the area!

“Feeling home on holiday!”

Its an amazing stay to eat, sleep and stay for a longer time. The hosts are amazing. They take care of you and also have respect for privacy. We really gonna miss this place. The location ia amazing just 2 min to the beach and 5 to Midigama centre. Everyone can stay here and can feel really welcome. Thanks to the hosts again.

Mallika and Pathmasiris home stay was very welcoming and relaxed. Clean and simple room , bed and pillow are very nice and fresh. I loved the garden, lots of beautiful plants. It’s a great location, quiet but very close to midigama center, 2 min walk. They can make you breakfast and dinner at the house if you want to. Mallika is very sweet and easy to talk to, and Pathmasiri can drive you in his TukTuk, and he is a calm and safe driver. If you like home stay this I the best place!

Great location - 5 minutes walk to the surf and a bunch of restaurants and cafes. 30mins walk into Ahangama. It’s off the main road so no noise from passing traffic, or the Tuesday night rave down the main part of midigama, although it’s close to the train tracks so be prepared for that (but to be fair everywhere in midigama will get the noise from the trains as the tracks run right through the middle of it). Hosts (Mallika & Pathmasiri) are super lovely and helpful! They made breakfast every morning. Mallika also sorted some laundry for me, as well as transportation to my next destination - Pathmasiri is a tuk tuk driver himself, so always willing to help. Their place is super tidy and well kept, with a lovely garden and outdoor seating. Wifi worked great and there was a fan and mosquito net over the bed which was great. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in the area! Thanks guys =-)

Wonderful homestay. Respectful and caring hostess will prepare you great dishes with excellent value. Spotlessly clean with new facilities. Big comfortable bed with good mosquito net. No AC but the provided fan did just fine. Location is great, few minutes to the beach, both swimming and surfing options are at a walking distance.

Very nice family with a beautiful house and garden with a lot of plants. I felt so welcome and like at home. The room was not too big, but had everything you need and even your own bathroom. For me it was the cleanest accommodation I had during my 3 weeks, so I felt very comfortable there. Would have liked to stay longer, but will definitely come back! :)

It's a small guesthouse with two rooms for rent and amazing hospitable hosts. I hope I will come back there. Room and bathroom are well equipped. If you need to keep something in the fridge or need hot water, you can simply ask hosts. They can arrange transport or laundry, anything you need. I can also recommend breakfasts which are big and diverse. For sure, you won't be hungry :D They were even able to prepare gluten-free food for me, which I appreciate very much.

Wonderful to stay at a home stay and meet the wonderful Malika and her husband who were very helpful with renting us their scooter, and our laundry. We loved staying in a local home!
