This family-run hotel is located in quiet Thuringian countryside, 5 km from Weimar town centre. Hotel Schwartze offers free WiFi in public areas, free parking and good access to the A4 motorway. All of the Hotel Schwartze's comfortably furnished rooms feature a TV and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. A rich breakfast buffet and a small range of regional Thuringian specialities are served in the Hotel Schwartze’s rustic-style restaurant, which offers views of the game reserve. Guests can enjoy regional Thuringian beers at the traditional bar or on the hotel terrace. Hotel Schwartze is directly beside a deer park as well Gelmeroda Church, famous as being the first motorway church in Eastern Germany. The cities of Erfurt and Jena are a 25-minute drive away.

Good location close to the highway and gas station. Interesting surroundings with the animals (which explain some strange noise at night so don't be alarmed). Room was spacious and clean. It would be nice to find a bottle of water in the room after long trip. It was not clear if the water is good to drink.

The hotel is good. We were traveling on the east-west highway, and it was a perfect location for an overnight stay.

Amazing hosts, we were delayed at the Channel Tunnel and missed the scheduled check in time, the host walked back to the hotel to reopen at 10pm and get us a room key. Field full of deer near the property, amazing.

Small cozy village hotel in the especially quiet place with wondefull view to deer park. Various breakfast, car parking places. Clean room. Exceptionally polite and helpfull reception woman. Our check-in had to be done till 22:00, but contacting the reception and they waited us till we came 23:00. Thank You!
