Location, right by the station. Very clean, lovely room, bike storage, breakfast exceptional.

The hotel is right in front of the station and walking distance to all sights. The staff is friendly and helpful. We booked without breakfast (EUR 19 pp). The room was clean and bright and just big enough.

Good location with a classy lobby of art & hotel history Room was good size & clean.Quiet Probably worth getting the parking- not much street parking & mich limited to 2 hours Didn't use the restaurant. Saved some money with a simple breakfast at the station bakery

“Luxurious yet affordable”

The location in relation to the cost of the stay. It is basically located right in front of the Weimar Train station, allowing you access to other nearby cities such as Jena and Erfurt. The re are also several buses that go to the city center.

“A great stay in a historical hotel in a historical town”

I’ve stayed here before so it was my first choice when visiting Weimar again. It is within less than two minutes walk from the main station so perfectly situated for rail travel. The hotel has a very nice ambience. It dates back to the middle of the 19th Century and the architecture is pleasing. Large and airy with a very nice bar and restaurant area including a terrace with seating which is great to sit out and eat breakfast or drink a beer. The breakfast buffet is very nice with a large selection of different products and a very nice location. The restaurant food and beer is very good and reasonably priced.The rooms are large and comfortable. There is a luggage room in the foyer. There is also a nicely appointed smoking lounge off of the reception area. The town is within easy walking distance with a good deal of buses as an alternative. The staff are pleasant, helpful and friendly

At checkout, the gentleman who handled my checkout, had apparently been having lunch in the back office. He arrived at the front desk still chewing his food and was, frankly, not particularly polite.

“Nice hotel”

Great location in the beautiful city of Weimar. It is an old hotel, but well maintained. We travelled with our small dog and were given a dog friendly room. It wasn’t very modern but we paid a good price for the room. Nevertheless we had to pay €20 extra for the dog and the parking was steep as well. But if you arrive by train, the Bahnhof is opposite the hotel and we f you don’t bring your pooch, the hotel is very reasonable.
