Grande Albergo Giancarlo is situated in the Old Town of Weimar, only 100 metres from the Goethe National Museum and Schiller's House. Guests can enjoy the Mi Piace classic Italian trattoria and an antipasti bar. The 18 spacious rooms and two suites feature typically Italian furnishings. “A lovely stay in beautiful Weimar”
Hotel took a little finding but once we were there the location was excellent for our needs. We enjoyed everything about the stay, including the restaurant recommended for dinner (part of the same group).

Fabulously stylish hotel. All newly refurbished and to a very high standard. Excellent Italian restaurant downstairs with genuine Italian food of very good quality. In walking distance to all the major sights.

Both staff members I spoke with were delightful. The room was beautiful. The welcoming fruit was much appreciated. The location was perfect. Weimar itself is a beautiful and interesting town. I wish I'd booked for longer.
