Overview
This first class hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Weimar city centre, directly behind the Goethe House and opposite the Goethe Park. It offers unique accommodation. Many of the distinctive rooms, suites and apartments of the Dorint Hotel Am Goethepark Weimar are designed in an Art Nouveau/Bauhaus style. All rooms have internet access, and all come with a complimentary bottle of water. Tasty regional dishes and local beers and wines are served in the hotel’s Consilium pub. International cuisine and fine wines are offered in the elegant restaurant. In the evening, linger in the Belle Epoque lobby bar, where numerous cocktails and refreshing drinks are offered.

The location was fine for me working in Jena. Room, food, and staff were excellent. The staff couldn't do enough to help, and so attentive to every detail. It was a pleasure to stay there.

The hotel is excellent - spotlessly clean rooms, friendly and professional staff, very well situated for the Frauenplatz, Goethe's house, Schiller's house etc. There is an underground car park with its own section for the hotel, separate from the section for the general public. A tip for anyone on a motorcycle. There is a sign at the car park entrance, unhelpfully situated too late to allow you to turn around, saying no bikes allowed. Being too late to turn around, I went through to the hotel section. You can get past the barrier even on a large bike (BMW R1250RT). I paid for parking, of course, but don't be put off by that sign.

“We had an excellent time and would be very happy to stay here again.”
Great location (both central and next to the lovely Park an der Ilm); very helpful, kind and polite staff; excellent breakfast with many options for vegans and vegetarians, very good espresso (and welcome classical music!); nice small terrace providing shade on summer afternoons. We stayed in the house next to the main building, which has the charm of older Weimar buildings, including a large wooden staircase.

Highly Recommended! We've had a wonderful stay at Dorint Am Goethepark Weimar. The location is unbeatable, right next to the park and just a short stroll to the historic city centre and Goethe's house. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, our offering beautiful park views. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere despite being so central. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, varied, and worth the price. The staff were helpful and professional throughout. A perfect choice for a relaxing and culturally rich stay in Weimar. The location is excellent: very close to the city center, but in the peaceful area with plenty of nature. The hotel is clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. The staff are friendly and helpful.
