Overview
This 16th-century hotel is located in Weiden's historic centre, directly at the pedestrian zone and a 5-minute walk from the bus station. The rooms at the 3-Star Superior Klassik Hotel am Tor all include a minibar and flat-screen TV with satellite channels. There is free internet access via WiFi and the whole hotel is non-smoking. Drinks are served all day in the Klassik's bistro. In the summer, guests can sit on the terrace overlooking the historic marketplace. Many restaurants, cafes and shops are just outside the Klassik Hotel in the pedestrian area. Weiden Train Station is within a 15-minute walk of the Klassik. Drivers are just 5 minutes from the A93 motorway.

“The Tor to the Old Town of Weiden!”
The location is awesome...it really is the door to the Altstadt! You can park your car and walk the whole rest of your trip and there's always something to do!

“A top choice for staying downtown”
Location was great as it is right down town. Size of the room I had was decent, although it was on 2nd floor and I had to lower my head to walk around the bedroom (angled ceiling). AC was great in the bedroom, but there was no AC downstairs (the room had an internal staircase with an upstairs for the bedroom and a downstairs for bathroom and sitting area). It is one of the very few hotels downtown with parking right next to it. Although it is located next to many restaurants, it was very quiet in the bedroom (I don't know if the other rooms would be the same, based on which way they face). Staff was great!

“Great location, easy parking and very clean.”
Great location just outside the city walls. Very friendly staff and a nice breakfast with made to order eggs and bacon. The parking garage is just a very short walk away. We’ll definitely stay here again.
