Property is located on a quiet residential street. The beach is 2 minute walk. Shops not to far. Staff are very welcoming and helpful!. Manager is very helpful! Food is Amazing! Thank you all!! I'll be BACK!! See you SOON!

“Attempted theft from the staff”

In the evening of the first night, staff attempted to enter my property with their key. They must have thought I was out, and were trying to steal from my room. Fortunately I had blocked their entrance with my key on the inside. The next day, I immediately checked out for my safety. I complained about the attempted entrance, the guy mumbled something about 'cleaning', which was obviously a lie. Booking.com is refusing to do anything about it, so they are complicit. Be warned, this is not a safe place to stay.

It was a really comfortable place and very nice..the staff was amazing A member of the staff (shashi) was very helpful with everything we needed including dinner and everything and every other staff members were very friendly and supportive..will visit back for sure❤️

Staff was super friendly. We liked the size of the bed. And it was comfy and clean sheets. Located near all stores/ supermarkets. A/C was good working.

A charming hotel right by the sea! The location is simply perfect, just a 3 minute walk away from the beach. The rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious and veggie-friendly. I felt at home from the very beginning. The evening entertainment at the hotel was highly enjoyable, with great music and karaoke nights. I had wonderful evenings right at the start of my trip. The owners of the hotel are equally super helpful and wonderful, and the entire staff was always attentive and accommodating. An ideal place to arrive and start your journey in Colombo. I highly recommend the Salty Seahorse!
