“Great Base for the Battle of Waterloo”
This was the ideal base for walking to - and around - the battlefield and its sites. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom had a proper (steel) bath. We didn’t dine in the hotel (there were no vegetarian options), but there was an Italian restaurant next door and a general bistro a 15-minute walk away. Breakfast was okay (albeit pricy) … but so noisy (see below). Plenty of parking and a good-sized garden in which to walk the dog.

The best location, tremendous breakfast, comfortable beds and good shower, lovely staff. Excellent attached restaurant. Couldn't be better. Absolutely the best option for visiting the Waterloo battlefield.

“Subdued Impression”
Hotel Le1815 enjoys an exceptional location over the Waterloo battlefield and the iconic Lion’s Mound. It provides a lovely green view with fresh windy air. The hotel room, furnituren and bed, is very basic. The Internet is super-fast!

“Fantastic Place to Visit Waterloo Battlefield From”
Fantastic location - on the Waterloo battlefield in the British and Allied positions. Breakfast was much better than I expected having read reviews (we enjoyed it) and there was ample parking during October Half term holidays.
