Temple Point Resort is located in Watamu Marine National Park at the junction of the Mida Creek and Indian Ocean. Overlooking a coral reef and its own private beach, it offers traditional Swahili-style rooms. All of the air-conditioned rooms at Temple include a modern bathroom. There are views of the Indian Ocean, Mida Creek or lush tropical gardens from a patio or balcony. A la carte or buffet-style African and international cuisine is provided at Temple Point’s Clubhouse Restaurant. Panoramic views of Mida Creek can be enjoyed at the bar, which serves cocktails. Relax by the elegant pool surrounded by sun loungers or enjoy a massage or hot tub session at the spa and wellness centre. Many sports activities or excursions can be arranged by the tour desk or animation team. Watamu is situated 5 minutes’ by car, and contains many shops, restaurants and bars. The Ruins of Gedi are 15 km and an airport shuttle is available for Mombasa or Malindi Airport for a surcharge.

We were there for a wedding, it was a very special location for that. Our room was big with a good bathroom and it had air-conditioning. The gardens and communal areas were lovely.

Its my second time at Temple Point. The location itself is beautiful with a big private beach, a nice clean pool and nice rooms. The outdoor cinema is magical and the gym has everything you need for a good workout.

“Relaxing, friendly and peefect”
The hotel is clean. There are so many staff and they do their job so well. They are so friendly and kind, learning our names! The hotel is amongst gorgeous plants and the rooms are tasteful yet basic. The pool area is lovely and theres a private beach which is a bonus!
