“Interesting place (aka nothing works). No wifi, no pool, no proper ac.”
I booked a pool, wifi and airconditioning. None of these three were available. Organsation is a disaster.

“Double price and kicked out at night”
Upon arrival, the guest house refused to honor the price listed on Booking.com and demanded that I pay double the online rate. When I showed them my confirmed booking, they still refused to allow me to check in and ultimately sent me away.

“Lovely people, nice views and overall a great stay”
Spacious and clean rooms, lovely staff and owner of the property always ready for a chat with a smile, big hello to Ali, Kenneth, Samuel and Jacob - the property is well located just under 10 mins walk from the main beaches and surrounded by shops, restaurants, banks, tuktuks… anything you need really… rooms priced well in comparison to other properties in the area, even though Watamu in general is a little more expensive than for example Lamu further north… we had a nice big balcony with great views right at the top… also nice pool for some refreshment within the property… overall a great stay and can definitely recommend!
