“A little Oasis in Watamu”

We loved our stay in Nyumba ya Africa. Immediately we felt like home. Andi and his wife are amazing hosts. The communication was great and easy, any question or request we had got answered and solved. Breakfast and our dinner was super yummy and freshly made. The rooms were big and comfortable and we loved to chill and relax at our balcony. The whole team was also super friendly and kind during our stay. And when we decided to leave the Oasis it was just a 2min walk to the beautiful beach with a few great beach restaurants where also could relax. No wonder its fully booked - it is anal amazing place. Thank you that we were able to experience it

Lovely, quiet property with easy access to the beach and to main attractions via taxi. Really peaceful in the evenings sitting on the terrace and the food was fantastic from Johnson!

“Great location, nice pool, delicious food but definite room for improvement”

Great location right near the beach (the Italian side of Watamu). It has a lovely pool and the chef cooked great food. Luckily there was a great family staying which created a nice buzz. The hosts were kind and quite welcoming although there are some areas of improvement to make this is a stand out stay.

Everything about the stay was amazing . Fantastic welcoming hosts and beautiful fresh breakfasts. No request was too much the whole experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend anyone to stay and will certainly be returning

“A great place to stay while in Watamu!”

Andrea and Hindra are wonderful hosts. We came in quite late and had a few queries, Andrea graciously helped us settle in. We also had a special family celebration and they all went out of their way to make it so memorable. We will certainly be coming back!

This was an absolutely magical stay and exceeded all our expectations! The place felt like home the moment we stepped in, everything planned and arranged to the tiniest, impeccable details, the foos out-worldly, and most importantly, the friendliest staff. A 10-star recommendation in all fronts!

“Not what we expected”

The accommodation is very nice. Good pool - nice garden. Especially garden and cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. The location of the accommodation is good. Near the beach - 200 meter walk. There are some good restaurants rather close-by. Andy was friendly. He didnt interfere a lot with us. Probably cause there were other guest who he knew well. We asked for a late checkout ; that was no problem.

Nyumba ya Afrika is like a fairy tail. Ons you walk through the gate you see a stunning accomodation with an even more stunning garden with pool.

An absolutely wonderful and serene location, tastefully decorated spaces, with pleasant ambiance, kindness and attention to detail. Delicious and diverse food (even too much!), and the most dedicated host, Andrea, who looks after everyone’s utmost comfort and makes you feel truly at home.

"Nyumba ya Afrika" will make you feel at home during your stay! At the end of this wonderful experience, we can confirm everything! Andrea and his team are amazing! We had the pleasure of getting to know him, and he drew us into his adventure. Our safari room was perfect, beyond expectations, not to mention the abundant and delicious food. We tried the fish dinner and the Swahili one, both amazing thanks to the chef, who surprised us!! Let me mention Andrea again, always there for every need. Great job "Nyumba ya Afrika", don't hesitate to arrange your holidays with them. You'll come back home happy and relaxed!
