Resort was nice. For beach location is good. Staff was friendly. Joshep and Gayal was very helpful.

Location near the beach, restaurants and shops. Accesible swimming pool at any time. Nice clean rooms. Complimentary madafu on arrival. Joseph was great and helpful. Room gets cleaned everyday.

Great value for money, the property is well maintained and Joseph took great care of me.

It is a really nice place with a relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. Our room had a nice furnished balcony with a view of trees and garden.

We booked on the same day after another accommodation cancelled my booking and Marijani Resort were very communicative and able to welcome us at a short notice. The staff, in particular Peter, were very kind and able to answer all our questions about Watamu.

Great staff, clean quite and good decor using locally available materials.

“Just some misunderstanding I guess but overall everything was okay”

Money was stolen from my safe. There is a safe in the room and you can rent a key. But do not do this in any case. Not all of it was stolen, but part of the money. I didn't call the police because I was in a hurry to catch a train. In the end, the administrator started claiming that I had spent it and didn't remember. At the same time, they have a camera that allows you to see who entered the room when I was away. I don't know if there's a camera in the backyard, since the room can also be accessed from the street. Considering that security guards have been monitoring the entrance to the courtyard all day, I can confidently say that someone from the staff stole the money.

Confortable, affordable and clean rooms / studios, super friendly staff, good location (10min to the beach), quiet location and excellent price / value ratio!!!

“Cozy and perfect location”

We just had one night in Marijani and enjoyed it. The communication was easy and kind. Marijani has a perfect location. It's in the middle of the village where you can experience the local life and also just a 2min walk to the beautiful beach. Our room was the prefect size and we loved the outdoor area where we spent our evening relaxing. You can feel the family owned flair and all the staff was really kind and helpful. We didn't use the pool but had a few minutes to enjoy the area while waiting for our driver. Also got a good alternative to storage our bags since we left at 3pm pass the check out time We would have definitely stayed longer if we didn't have to leave Thank you for our experience at Marijani

“Horrible, abusive scary”

This was one of the worst experiences of any holiday, we actually left rude owner we only asked for dinner after a long journey and were told kitchen was closed as we had booked late it was 7pm when we arrived. We were then locked into the premises my husband and myself were verbally abused. Please for the sake of other guests remove from booking.com.

The staffs are friendly and the hotel is clean

Wonderful little hotel, with attractive grounds and FANTASTIC staff. The location is great, 2 minutes walk from a wonderful local beach with fishing boats, and a short walk through a neighbourhood to get into the main streets of Watamu.

Great breakfast, great value for money. They improved the place since my last stay.
