“Peaceful and relaxing B&B”

Very tranquil and relaxed bed and breakfast. Great location amongst woodland and the sound of birdsong. Friendly host who gave good advice about places to eat in the local area (we had a lovely meal at Greek restaurant, Eleni). B&B has free parking on site. Very nicely decorated large room. It had a nice homely feel to it. Also a nice comfortable bed and modern shower room, although the toilet is separate. Breakfast was amazing with a nice variation each morning. It's placed in a cool box outside the room in the evening, which you transfer to the fridge in the room, to have whenever you choose in the morning, you could even eat it on the balcony. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and looking forward to revisiting.

Very convenient for cycling to the Hague and to Wassenaar and beach. Beautiful quiet location with a balcony view to a treescape. Our hostess Lucie was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was of very good quality. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to others or returning ourselves, but sadly the owners are selling up. But if there's a room free there before then, take it.

Beautiful Room with balcony. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent, beautifully presented breakfast, something different every day (hot options on a couple of the days - impressive) enjoyed out on balcony - loved it. Great host, very friendly and helpful. We visited The Hague and Mauritshuis Art Museum, the Panorama Mesdag (so lucky that this has survived) and nearby Louwman Motor Museum by bus but could have cycled. Really enjoyed our stay.

A spacy room in a very nice villa in a quiet neighbourhood. Friendly landlady and also a friendly little dog (teckel). Suggestions for walks and restaurants, help with public transport, and above all: a superb breakfast!

The room was large and spotless. it had a lovely balcony overlooking the back garden. the bed was very comfortable and the room was equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast is delivered to outside your door and we’re amazing

Excellent accommodation, the owners of which are very pleasant people. The crown of the spacious and clean, well-furnished room is the balcony in the middle of greenery and birdsong, where you can enjoy your morning coffee or sit in the evening. The room has everything you need for life, coffee machine, kettle, fridge, fast wifi, spacious shower room. The breakfast is amazing. Parking in the yard. The place is logistically in a very good location. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, the beach, Keukenhof, Kinderdijk and many of Holland's lovely small towns are only half an hour away by car. The large Oud-Wassenaar park on the other side of the road is suitable for a walk or jogging. We stayed there for three days and enjoyed it very much.

Lucy and Frank were excellent hosts and made us feel like we had known them for years. The Breakfast that Lucy made each day was the nicest we have ever had in any accomodation. The room was lovely, large and very comfortable and contained everything we needed for our stay. 🥰

This is by far the cleanest, most welcoming bed and breakfast I have ever experienced. Shower room is lovely, and the bed is super comfy. The ketttle and refrigerator gave me some freedom to prepare a light meal in the evenings. Be sure to bring your appetite, the breakfast is generous, varied, and so very delicious! The hospitality at De Rode Beuk is truly outstanding!

it is suited in a quiet area between The Hague and Wassanaar. The cycling routes were easy to find and use and Lucy our host had maps and suggestions for us to try.
