Located in the centre of Wassen in the Canton of Uri, the family-run Hotel Gerig has a restaurant with a garden terrace serving traditional Swiss cuisine. It overlooks the historic Gothard Railway and offers free Wi-Fi. Featuring traditional wooden furnishings, all rooms at the Gerig Hotel include a flat-screen TV and a work desk. room was clean, nice shower, comfortable bed and very friendly staff. Dinner was good and breakfast with fresh bread. We brought a little dog which was perfectly ok with the staff.

“Exceptional Hospitality with Nice Views and Easy Access”
The staff is extremely friendly, the facilities are cozy and clean, the views are great and it has an easy access from Andermatt either by car or by public transport. Highly recommended.

Ideally located in the way to Italy. Very clean. Wonderful hospitality! Nice, but pricey food ( Swiss standards) and lovely breakfast, good coffee. Free parking
