Overview
Hotel Amsee is located in hilly and natural countryside beside the Tiefwarensee lake, a 3-minute drive from Waren Train Station. The 4-star hotel offers a 1,000 m² spa area, sports facilities and conference facilities. WiFi and private parking are available for free. All rooms and suites at Hotel Amsee are non-smoking and include cable TV, telephone and private bathroom. Some rooms offer a safe and lake views and some also have a balcony. The Amsee's restaurant is open in the mornings and in the evenings, and offers direct views of the Tiefwarensee lake. The hotel also has a bar and a library. The 4 conference rooms can host up to 100 delegates. Newly opened in December 2015, the new luxurious spa area includes a fitness room, an onsen (hot spring) bath, a Finish sauna and a salt room. Guests can also take a plunge in the Tiefwarensee lake, which can be reached via saunas or a lake terrace. Many hiking and cycling trails can be found just outside Hotel Amsee. Guests can use the hotel's rental bikes to explore the nearby forested scenery.

“The perfect get-away for a couple looking to unwind and relax. The breakfast buffet is fantastic!”
Our stay was exceptionally great. The breakfast was out of this world great. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. Upon request, I was given the option to fetch a pot of coffee so we could have coffee in bed. The spa area is well thought out and spacious. We were really able to relax. The gym is a bit narrow, but we managed to work out twice and it was great. A wonderful addition and it was really good to be able maintain our routine. Finally, if there's any questions left open: We already booked our stay for next year...

“Lovely lakeside hotel”
A large living room with separate bedroom and leading onto a private terrace. It is very close to the lake but there was a mosquito net door out to the terrace so we were not bothered by mosquitos at all. The room had dining tables and chairs, large sofa, armchair and kitchenette with fridge and basic crockery, pans and utensils. We dined in the hotel every evening but the fridge was a great asset in the very hot weather for chilling drinks. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent. We took the half board deal which gave limited choice but the quality of the food was super. The swimming pool is lovely and we usually had it to ourselves. The staff were helpful and friendly.

“Great SPA hotel”
Great SPA zone and good massage — there were not so many people in the SPA zone every time we went there, so definitely an amazing experience. Very good breakfast buffet — variety of food and tastes were high level. The room was ok, in good condition, though the floor looked a bit "tired". We definitely enjoyed our stay and properly relaxed before the new year.

Lovely location with view of the Tiefwarensee, 10 minute bike ride to Waren. Large room with very comfy beds although the covers were too thick for summer. Nice dining room and a great breakfast. Excellent spa area, a great place to relax. Good bike trails in the area with lovely scenery!

“Great family escape!”
Such friendly people - needed a family get away and it felt like we were so well looked after. Endless kindness, hospitality, great weather and very nice rooms that were very practical and clean. Highly recommended.
