“A little disappointed with overall presentation but comfortable.”
Set in a beautiful area away from town but a nice walk to get to it. Rooms & beds were clean and tidy and the shower was good flow & hot. A youth hostel appeal with lovely views from most windows. Couches in the lounge were comfortable and the closed fire place was a delight to sit around at the end of the day. Toaster, kettle, microwave, bowls, cups and small wine glasses were handy for prep of a basic breakfast. Allen is lovely & very helpful.

“Peaceful and serene stay!”
Located walking distance from the town. Very serene and peaceful lodging. While a little old, it was comfortable and had heated bed as well as a basic kitchenette with all the basic freebies. The lodging served it's purpose! Also had a very rustic common area for hanging out. Had a good sleep. Owner Allan and Amy were very accommodating.

Charming old lodge accomodation. Clean and friendly. Good location, parking and friendly staff. Good value as is an older property. Fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster all helpful.

“property is in a state of disrepair”
The property is significantly misrepresented in its listing; the photos do not accurately reflect the current, dated condition of the space. Additionally, the plumbing is inadequate, with the shower providing only a minimal drip rather than a functional stream. Given these issues, I cannot recommend staying here

“Great heritage building with welcoming staff.”
I liked that it was convenient and relaxed, close to everything. If you wanted to make your own breakfast everything was there. Bowls, microwave, utencils etc. If you want to get breakfast, just pop on down to the local shops.
