The house was very comfortable, with plenty of room. The decor was outstanding. The views were beautiful.

The house is absolutely gorgeous with such great attention to detail in the furniture and decoration - plus exceptionally clean and comfortable. And of course a perfect setting with views of the mountain and forests with a reasonably short walk down to town for those who are able. We loved the stay - a perfect setting for our Mumma & daughter weekend - but also would be lovely for large family or friend groups. It was great to meet Mick for a chat too.

Absolutely Everything!! Warburton House is truly special. It is exquisitely and thoughtfully presented; the quality of the design, furnishings and decor are outstanding. The restoration and fitout by the owners was obviously a labour of love. We enjoyed the quiet, peacefulness and everything Warburton has to offer. Little treats were appreciated!! Although there were only 2 of us, the space was beautiful and luxurious. I'd love to return with my family one day. Highly recommend. You wont find better!!

Beautiful house and garden. Obviously a lot of time, research and love has gone into the restoration. Hosts were great - a warm fire on arrival with everything we needed. A very comfy lounge area with big, soft couches in front of wood heater, loads of books and all the basics such as tea/ coffee, fresh milk and toiletries covered. Would be lovely to visit in summer and make more use of outside dining area.

It’s not just about the history, though—the modern upgrades are top-tier. ​The spa bath was the ultimate highlight for relaxation after a long bike ride along the Warburton - Lilydale Rail Trail, and the enormous high res TV offered a cinematic experience that would surpass any 5 star luxury hotel. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who appreciates history & architectural character but doesn't want to sacrifice modern technology and comfort. Everything was pristine, and the attention to detail was 10/10.
