Our stay at this hotel was terrible from the very beginning. On the day we checked in, the villa was extremely hot — the room temperature showed 33°C, and the air conditioner was not working at all. We called the staff, and they said someone would come fix it. We waited for an hour, but nobody came. We called again, and the staff member said, “Oh, I thought someone already came and fixed it.” But nobody had come. He said he would call again and send someone, so we waited another two hours. In the end, we called once more, and another staff member told us that nobody could come at that time. We wasted the entire evening sitting in the room waiting for them and couldn’t even go out. The next morning, we called again because there was no hot water either. Then they told us that our villa actually did not even have an air conditioner 🤦🏻‍♀️. They could have told us that from the beginning instead of making us wait for hours. They also said there was no hot water in the whole hotel and it would return soon. However, we stayed two days without hot water, while guests in other villas told us they did have hot water. If there is no air conditioner, then the hotel should not advertise that the villa includes one. At the very least, they could have installed mosquito nets on the windows like in the other villas. This hotel was awful — no comfort, no proper help from the staff, and overall a very disappointing experience. We had a horrible two-day stay the

We booked a waterfront unit. The unit was nicely furnished and had everything you could possibly need for a stay. There was plenty of cookware, if you wanted to cook as well as cutlery and crockery. The unit was in a perfect location overlooking the lake and was nicely private. The check in staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Access to the slipway and harbour was easy and the whole park was lovely and well kept

Location of cottages. The atmosphere and aura of the objects and the area around them. Beautiful surroundings and a good starting point to explore the area. Reliable service! I recommend this place with a clear conscience

“Two nice nights in the Tiny House / Solo Retreat”

Everything was very clean and for the small space, the tiny house was fully equipped. Giethoorn is the next village and good to reach. We found a lot of good locations to eat, rent a boat or a bike. We would love to come back. Two nights were enough to see Giethoorn. If you need a calm holiday for longer this will be a good place if you choose a house near the water.
