Located less than a 1-minute walk from the centre of Wanaka, Wanaka Hotel is a 1-minute walk from the lake and town centre. Most accommodation offers views over the lake and mountains. “Just what we needed!”
Booked at the last minute, delighted with our choice. Clean and comfortable, plenty of free parking available. We requested a room with a bathtub in the ensuite, which was much appreciated. Movies were available to rent from the front desk which was a nice touch. We used the self service laundry facilities and the very clean communal kitchen which were very useful to have (there was a good-sized private fridge in our hotel room to store groceries). More hotels should be like this one!

Best location in the town with a lot of bars and restaurants around the hotel, no longer need to drive after checking in. So definitely good for a drink for dinner XD. The staff was super nice and welcoming. The parking spot is free and spacious. The room was very clean, even though it was not the most modernized design, but the view was stunning. They have courtyards for each room on the first floor, facing a beautiful grassland. Highly recommend this hotel for families and friends.
