“I would absolutely come here again. So excellent”
Handy, easy to be in, great to have ensuite bathroom. Excellent kitchen and dining/meeting facilities Right next to New World, and stones throw from everthing, including the lake. No need for a car. Right opposite the best bookshop on the planet! So warm! So private, and super sunny.

Great and beautiful location, even though there was no parking at the hostel, but there was parking very close by. Room was lovely and warm. Shared kitchen was nice.

Bed was comfy, everything was very clean, kitchen and social areas were large lots of space for everyone. Amazing location. Staff super friendly

“Well equipped hostel with great kitchen. Comfortable and fairly spacious rooms”
The communal kitchen was great, well equipped and clean with considerate guests and frequent housekeeping. Gas stove has high heat output (4 x 2 burners) and there was an immersion blender, oven, airfryer and four microwaves. Plenty of fridge space The bathroom was spotless and very well designed. The beds are comfortable (medium-firm) and the room is spacious for a hostel. New World Supermarket is just behind the hotel and you can get affordable and fresh ingredients. It's very central location is brilliant, there's plenty of eateries and sports equipment rental shops within 5 minutes walking distance

“Great Place to stay in Wanaka”
I am so glad I stayed in Wanaka! The Brownston is right in town and easy walking distance to everything. My bedroom was most comfortable and in good proximity to a female bathroom. The common dining/lounge spaces were very nice to relax in. All good. I was concerned about parking but there is plenty of unlimited spots up the road and my car was quite safe.
