“Absolute bliss”

We loved everything about our stay in Criffel Bluffs cottage. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Lesley and David who showed us around and we even met their cat Barker! (Who knows he isn’t allow inside). The cottage is spacious, warm and has everything you need inside. The bed is very comfortable. Very thoughtful touches like electronic blankets and heated flooring in the bathroom. The VIEWS from the cottage are fantastic and we enjoyed some wine and antipasto on the balcony. The kitchen has all the staples you need and we loved making breakfast! Visiting in late April we were treated to all the beautiful autumn colours in the tree. We will absolutely return again.

You won't find a more comfortable, tasteful, pristine, well thought out cottage and only 5 minutes to Wanaka. The owners are close by but are charming and discreet. The cottage is quiet and private with wonderful generous breakfast supplies included. Quality linen & towels. Huge bathroom with under floor heating. Day or night the views are beautiful looking towards Wanaka.

Large and comfy cottage with a priceless view over Lake Wanaka and the mountains. It is located in one of the prime neighborhoods outside Wanaka. Fully equipped, super clean and well-managed. Quiet and dark at night. The hosts were extremely kind and forthcoming.
