We loved our two night stay at the very cute School Cottage, and our time spent in the beautiful little historical town of Walhalla. The cottage was cosy and warm, with a very comfortable bed and furnishings. It’s has a great kitchen to self cater as there is limited places to buy food. The bathroom was well fitted out with a good shower. Although there was no TV reception, there is a smart TV you could hotspot, but we chose a couple of DVDs to watch from the supplied collection. There are also books and Scrabble. There is lots to see and do in Walhalla so stay a couple of nights if possible. We were sad to leave

Lovely little cabin in middle of nowhere. Town like a little time capsule. Which we had stayed more than one night to explore more.

It is a unique property, like travelling back in time. It is very comfortable and perfect for a stay in this lovely old mining town. We enjoyed an amazing train ride and a meal in the pub was excellent. We enjoyed our visit to this interesting town.

Lovely cottage, clean, tidy, all amenities provided, great accommodation, nice walk into Walhalla. Close to tourist attraction - gold mine. Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay would have been great to stay longer. My luck that it was perfect time for gathering conkers - that was a cherry on top.

Clean, cosy and warm. Nice glassware and crockery. A lovely place to sit on verandah, to enjoy a platter and a drink and talk to the locals and thankyou very much for returning my lost hat 😀
