Nice night at Tsukiji Hostel, kind and helpful owner, free bike, big clean and confortable room for a good price. I recommend !

The hosts were very friendly and enthusiastic, offering great recommendations for local food and attractions, and providing bicycles for guests to use. Communication was quick and reassuring whenever we had questions. Although it is a bit of a walk from the JR station, there are convenience stores, a shopping street, and many restaurants nearby. The location is also close to Wakayama Castle. The room was clean, well heated, unique, and cozy, making for a very comfortable stay.

Nice place to stay for couple of nights. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. The free rental bikes are nice to take to the beach or wherever you need

We loved absolutely everything. Hiroko and Kazu are really kind, welcoming and the most amazing hosts we could've asked for. They assisted with our arrival and departure, helped us with nearby points of interest and made sure we were absolutely comfortable during our stay. There were free bike rentals at the hostel, which we used a ton during our stay. We probably would've stayed longer if we had the opportunity. Thank you so much!

Well, we loved everything. We felt like VIPs. Hiroko san was very accommodating and even made a reservation at a great restaurant for us. We felt safe and comfortable. Even our car got a free space. We are very grateful. Next time, we would like to stay longer! Thank you and see you next time

This was a fantastic place to stay in Wakayama! It had everything we needed and felt incredibly comfortable—just like home. The hosts were exceptionally kind and thoughtful, even giving us a ride to the train station, which we really appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to return on our next visit to Wakayama. We highly recommend this wonderful place to everyone!

Very friendly host, the room was big, free use of bicycles what was great, a place where you can wash and dry your clothes, you feel welkome! She brought us even to the station, what was great!

“A hostel with style”

The hospitality of the host and the cleanliness made the stay a comfortable one. The hostel was a home for some decades, that tells by the interior structural set up but the host has turned it into comfortable hostel rooms and mindfully add quite some decorations along the hallways, public facilities and at least the big room we stayed. These give colours to it overall in a nice and decent way.
