“Unusual Hotel-in-a-Hotel with a Modern Feel”
The sleeping pods were comfortable and well furnished, including a lockable box, towels, pyjamas, TV, individually controlled lamps and ventilation, and a nice array of bedding. The pods appear to be individual units that are placed in one large room and just arranged into rows. Quite modern and slick design. Generally, it feels quite private, although sound travels easily as the only separation is a blind. Men and women are segregated into two separate areas that each require a key card to enter. There are bathrooms within these areas and a shared communal seating area with microwave and kettle. Centrally located just outside Wakayama station and very handy for train and bus links. On balance, I'd stay there again.

Location - within the Wakayama Station precinct. Situated on the 6th floor of the Hotel Granvia building, and also accessible using the lifts from the Kintetsu department store. Bed - all capsules are single decker. I chose the cheapest option, which was still spacious and not too claustrophobic. The more expensive capsule have a 'sitting' area with chairs and a small round table. Facilities - both men and women have their own onsen baths. Toilet, sink and bathroom areas are tidy and clean. Dining area is very small with one table to eat and a few more couches for sitting. There is a microwave but no kitchen or fridge. Staff - kind and helpful. There is a long spiel about the rules and facilities at check in, with information available in multiple languages.

The hotel was simply fantastic from every point of view. Its location is very strategic, with the train nearby, making it extremely convenient to get around. The hotel itself is beautiful, very well equipped, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Above all, the staff was extremely attentive and always available. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

“Amazing luxury capsule hostel”
Just amazing capsule hostel, so beautiful, so clean, quiet, so comfortable, feels like luxury. I was in the female dormitory and everything was perfect. I could relax in a very nice onsen/sento bath. You have to enter the big the luxury hotel next to the station, walk all the way down to the elevator and go to the 6th floor.

“A very nice capsule hotel near Wakayama rail station”
Very nice gorgeous capsule hotel. You won’t feel “packed” or “stuffed” when you sleep in this capsule as it is more like a small tent or a booth than a capsule. Hotel staff are also kind

“Solo cyclist”
Staff were excellent. Location next to the railway station. Shops and restaurants next door. Nice bath facility (but the water could have been a little hotter). Big bed, locker, tv, onsen wear, and towels. Comfortable lounge and dining area with microwave and kettle. Kept my bicycle in the covered bike storage next door, 200 yen per day. Then, when boxed was able to keep overnight in the ground floor reception area.

“Great as the first time capsule”
It was our first capsule hotel so I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but as first time goes, we thought it was brilliant. It was clean, spacious enough, and plenty of space to get ready in the communal area. They come and wake you up if you request upon checking in (you’re not allowed to have your alarm in the rooms).

A capsule hôtel, located very smartly right next to the Wakayama station. The capsule itself is small, but confortable. Access to a mini-onsen, private locker, and towels. For the price and the access you dont get better.
