“A well-designed and equipped accomodation in an intetesting neighbourhood”
The vibes of the place is interesting, especially the cafe/bar pet bird. The room is spacious and well designed with a window bench and charging points for the female dorm. Value for money lodging. There are many good food places to try within walking distance and Wakayama Castle is not far either.

Great hostel with a very nice common and bardining area. A lot of locals also visit. I was surprised by a potluck breakfast which I could join which was a lot of fun. It's a very good hostel to connect with people. There's a great sento around the corner.

Amazing guesthouse! Staff were so friendly, the room was really spacious and spotlessly clean, and the bar downstairs was such a nice vibe to hang out in for the evening. The homemade umeshu was particularly delicious. Location was great too, as were the communal facilities. We even had a free tea tasting with a green tea master who was a friend of the owner! Make sure you stay here if you’re coming to Wakayama.

The apartment was big with all the facilities needed. It was great to be able to have fresh coffee any time in the little kitchen. The bike hire downstairs was really convenient. It was well located.

Very cute space with cool aesthetic and friendly staff. Great common spaces to hang out. Very nice local drinks. Loved that they had bike parking. Didn't realize until later that they have another branch that's a more dedicated bike hostel, but this place was more than great for a one night stop for us on our bike trip! Appreciated having a room with a private shower and bathroom for our group, and them giving us a whole private room (8 bunk beds) even though we were only 5 people. Really appreciated their guide for good spots around the hostel and in wakayama!

“Welcoming and warm guesthouse.”
Welcome staff, a modern guesthouse really welcoming. On the ground floor. A bar, Co-working space and shared kitchen. I really loved the simplicity of the room with BANK bed, shower and toilet in the room. Convenient location not far from the pier.

“One of the best hostels I've stayed.”
One of the best hostels I stay in Japan. And I stayed in quite a bit of them! Female dorm room set up is so Japanese with tatami floor and only 2 bunk beds which makes it homey and spacious. Shower & bathroom also inside the dorm. Btw I tried their homemade Ume wine mixed with soda water. The use is from Wakayama area so it's very locally produced. Downstairs area is also a quiet bar with light jazz music. The whole ambiance is relaxing. The guesthouse is on 5th floor (haas elevator) so it's very quiet. good! Last but not least, all the staff are super friendly and accommodating. 5 🌟 stay overall! 😀
