We loved our stay at Aroha Taveuni Beachfront Bures. It is a peaceful, beautiful beachfront property with comfortable rooms, lovely views and a relaxed island feel. The staff were warm, helpful and well organised, including with our airport transfers and advice about local activities. It was the perfect base for exploring Taveuni — waterfalls, coastal walks, snorkelling — while still feeling quiet and restful when we came back each day. Highly recommended, and we would happily return.

Stunning location. The grounds are immaculately looked after. Our Bure had everything we would ever want.. multiple sitting areas, a king size bed and both fan and a/c along with an outdoor shower!

“A very special place and a very special holiday.”

Our stay at Aroha Taveuni was a special experience. Catherine and Rod were excellent hosts, always willing to answer questions and give us advice about what to do and where to go. The staff were wonderful -- friendly and welcoming -- and the meals were superb, cooked by the very talented chef Chris. The bures too were very well designed, comfortable and spacious with easy access to the beach and an incredible view over the Somosomo Strait -- the sunsets! We did a number of excursions from Aroha -- birdwatching, a visit to Bobbi's farm, the Lavena coastal walk, and snorkelling on the Rainbow reef -- which were all exceptional. Taveuni is truly the garden island of Fiji.

The bures are beautifully situated with breathtaking views of the nearby islands. The garden is beautifully landscaped with exotic plants and flowers. The staff is very friendly and will always address you by your name, and the owners also do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The food is delicious, and all of this offers excellent value for money.

The rooms were very spacious, the outdoor shower was great, and the little kitchenette is good. Fantastic view of Vanua Levy and the passage, with great sunsets. The dining room and outdoor seating is a nice setting.

We just finished our honeymoon at Aroha Taveuni and honestly, it was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The bures are super comfortable, the beds are great, the outdoor showers are awesome, and the view from the front porch amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful, we could’ve easily stayed for weeks. Kathy and Rod and all of their staff were incredible hosts, super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. It really felt like nothing was too much trouble. The food at Kai Time, the restaurant next door, was also spot on. Great variety, fresh ingredients, and the service was excellent. If you’re looking for a chill, beautiful spot to relax in Taveuni, this is it.
