We had an absolutely unforgettable experience staying in a traditional Bedouin tent in the breathtaking desert of Wadi Rum. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The tent was comfortable, clean, and perfectly set up for the four of us. Spending the night under the vast desert sky was magical, peaceful, quiet, and unlike anything we had experienced before. The atmosphere was authentic yet cozy, giving us a real sense of Bedouin culture. Dinner was simply outstanding. The variety and quality of the food exceeded all our expectations, freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of rich, traditional flavors. It was truly a feast! Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive: generous, delicious, and the perfect way to start a day in the desert. The following day’s jeep tour around Wadi Rum was absolutely fantastic. We explored the area’s stunning landscapes and famous landmarks, drove across dramatic red sand dunes, and saw incredible rock formations. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, making the entire experience both exciting and informative. Overall, this was a perfect adventure for the four of us. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Jordan. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime desert experience!

We only had half a day free, and it was absolutely perfect! Awwad personally helped us arrange a jeep tour that fit our tight schedule—we even got a quick camel ride in there. He was so attentive and really took care of us. The camp was beautiful and spotless. The room and bathroom were impressively clean, and the hot water was great (a real plus after the desert!). And the food… omg, the food! So delicious, and they had really good vegetarian options, which was the highlight for me. The whole team was lovely and friendly, but Awwad made us feel so welcome. The camp is located deep in the desert where you can enjoy bedouin cuisine and good accommodation. There is also a plethora of available activities like jeep tour, star gazing, sandboarding etc. And the Bedouins are very welcoming and eager to share their knowledge of the desert.

“Pleasant stay under the stars!”

My trip began with Awwad Talal, who promptly contacted me right after I booked the property. He provided several full-day and half-day tour options at very reasonable prices, and I chose the full-day tour. Before the trip, he explained everything clearly — including the process at the Visitor Centre and where to park the car — which made us feel well-prepared. On the day of the tour, Awwad stayed in touch with us throughout our journey to ensure we were safe and comfortable. When we reached the Visitor Centre, his representative welcomed us and guided us to the Wadi Rum parking area, where we met Awwad in person. We transferred to his jeep and began our amazing desert safari. Awwad took us to all the iconic spots, patiently explained the history and significance of each place, and helped us capture incredible photos. He even arranged sand-boarding, which was so much fun! Upon our request, he prepared a delicious freshly-cooked vegetarian lunch right in the desert — such a unique and memorable experience. We went to the camp where we were greeted with hot Bedouin tea by the camp fire followed by the traditionally cooked dinner. The tents are modern and well equipped and have good private washrooms with hot water. Overall, the tour was extremely well-organized, safe, and filled with wonderful moments. I highly recommend Awwad for anyone visiting Wadi Rum!

Everything was perfect! Awwad and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. The stargazing experience and Wadi Rum jeep tour were absolutely unforgettable — truly a must-do! The tents are equipped with en-suite toilets, and the walls made from carpet and sheepskin help keep the temperature comfortable inside. It’s quite a small camp, with around 6–7 huts, making it ideal if you’re looking for tranquility and an intimate experience.

Awwad is a really good host and guide! I really enjoyed my stay. A simple camp that feels genuine and with a good location in the middle of the desert, close to a lot of the sights that the tours are visiting.

I had the best day and stay in Wadi Rum thanks to Awwad. He was absolutely amazing, very reactive to messages to organise the best experience for me. If there is something you want or don’t want, you only need to ask, he will tailor the experience specifically for you. He shared amazing knowledge about the history, the people, the culture and locations. The accomodation itself is very clean, hot water shower, remote from other camps, beautiful sunset & sunrise spot. Food, tea and cold water was included all day and delicious. Choose Wadi Rum and you’ll have an amazing experience that you’ll remember forever. Thank you again for everything !

“The perfect stay”

This was absolutely incredible and completely exceeded all expectations! My guide, Abdalsalam, was really nice and showed me all the best places in the wadi. The dinner included was a traditional bedouin dinner and was amazing. For the night I could choose to sleep in a tent or under the stars, and chose the latter which was absolutely spectacular and really made my stay complete - I had a full view of the Milky way and it wass really nice and quiet, so I def recommend this!!
