“Very nice desert experience”

We really enjoyed staying at facilities of this Beduin family. There are several similar camps and in winter in the low season we stayed at a slightly different location. The tents are simple but extremely clean with very comfortable beds. The nights in winter are very cold but the blankets provided allowed me to sleep just in a T-shirt. The accommodation is an excellent value as it includes half board with perfect local food, the preparation of the dinner itself is an experience (you will see). The transport to the camp is provided via the dessert tour, so it is expected to take one. The prices of the tours are competetive/same as everywhere else, so all ok. We took 4h tour and enjoyed it very much. Anytime coming back we would definitely stay again with this Beduin family.

Beautiful location in the Wadi Rum Protected Area

This is not a 5 star hotel, but this is a 5 star adventure, which I recommend to try to everybody. Thanks Ali for hospitality and for organizing our sunset jeep tour to the desert. The breakfast and dinner was super delicious.

We loved everything : ) we did a jet tour and met Moter, he is a very special guy. He showed us all the magic places in the desert and he took care of us as the best ! From now on, he is part of our family!! Also, the food and accommodation was excellent too !!

The host and his family are really special they try to do everything to make your holiday fantastic. The tent are nice and clean. The 4x4 jeep was fantastic we have our best lunch in Giordania cooked by our guide! Nice Bedouin barbecue also during the dinner.

The best experience we had in whole our trip to Jordan. Beds and rooms clean. All staff were amazing. I have to say thank you for all friendly people there. Very good organization, dinner and breakfast were also very good.

The location of the camp was amazing, views mesmerizing. The staff who recieved us were so friendly and welcoming. Ambience great. Food was really good and the rooms are big and clean. We used the wifi in the big tent where you can eat and drink tea as well. We will be back!

“Nice place to stay at, great food, scenic beauty, but not meeting every aspect described on Booking.”

POSITIVE ASPECTS: + great location where you can see the sun set behind the mountains in the desert + delicious homemade, local food (buffet) + heating as well as an actual bed in the tent + due to a shortage of time, I booked a private jeep tour (3.5 hrs) to see the main sites in Wadi Rum. Overall it was a great experience, but on the downside it was a bit pricey (60 JOD for 1 person) + Eid is a really friendly host whose English is very good. Because of the fact that he´s been so nice, I kind of feel bad about writing about the negative aspects of my experience but I think it is important to do it nevertheless so that he and his family (who run the place) can improve and get better. NEGATIVE ASPECTS: - Apart from Eid, the rest of the family/staff did not seem to speak or understand English very well. I was lucky because there was a travel group from Israel when I was at the camp and their guide helped me out translating. I think if they had not been there it would have been a challenge for me to communicate with the camp staff when Eid was not around. - When I arrived at 6:15 p.m. in the afternoon after a long journey from the north, I was told that my tent would soon be ready, but it actually took 45 mins. I think that if you agree on a check-in time you should make sure that everything will be ready when the guest arrives, not least because it was already late afternoon (at which time you could expect a room to be ready).

Camp's position was ideal and with a great view of the sunset right next to it ( you need to climb up a little rock)! We booked the camp and once we arrived at Wadi Rum Village we organised all the activities with our amazing guide Eid! Thank you for the jeep tour and the great lunch/dinner in the desert! I was pregnant and Eid took care of us all the time!

Everyone there was very friendly and helpful (we spent more time with Ahmed, Ezz, Abud and Dave). The traditional breakfast and dinner was delicious. After dinner we were able to have tea while watching the stars. The bathroom and tent were very clean and the views were amazing. When you check in you can book different types of excursions. We booked the full day jeep tour and our guide, Dave, made it very enjoyable and fun. Because of the landscape and the people who work here, this was the part of my trip to Jordan that I enjoyed the most. I would definitely come back and will recommend this place to my friends. Everything! Great spot in the desert to totally disconnect.

Really nice stay with the bedouins. We enjoyed the jeep tour trough the desert and also the dinner and the tea by the fire. Couldn't ask anything better.
