These People truly try to make your Stay special. We Feld immediately at home with this organization. Our Car was parked in a private location. The view is outstanding and you can see no one around you. Our tent was Clean and basic. The Entertainment Was very special. And you are Still able to take a good Shower.

“Living a Dream in Wadi Rum”

It was a wonderful experience, and we loved it so much that we will definitely come back. The landscape is absolutely stunning, and the people and their stories are truly amazing. When you come here, you feel like you’re in a completely different world. The experience itself was extraordinary, and the price is very low especially considering the incredible view you get. A traditional breakfast completes it all, making you truly feel like you’re living the desert life.

I was solo hiking for 5 days and stayed at four different camps during the time - I was very happy with all of them. Candles Camp is at the southern edge, with amazing sunset views to the wilder desert and perhaps the best view of all of my camp stays. Dinner was also delicious and Mahdi was a warm and energetic host (as was the rest of the team!). Ask him about navigating by stars if you meet. The value for money is unbeatable, just remember it is a desert so don't expect the exact same level of luxury and functionality as in cities. Nights are cold so be dressed up accordingly and take the stay as a bit of an adventure.

No wifi in the room, of course it’s a desert. We can use wifi at the common area. :)

I appreciate a lot the position of the Camp, you can enjoy the desrt and take picture withoit any other Camp in front of you. Also the staff Is really good, the are Always ready to help you and ready to keep your experience the Better Is possible

Staff were all very friendly, helpful and attentitive. Location was excellent - in the middle of nowhere. It was so remote the silence was infact deafening at times. Evening food was very good and cooked traditionally. Breakfast was very good - plenty of it. Evening entertainment was fantastic and something you'll always remember! The unlimited supply of tea was superb!! :D Accommodation was very good - however it was soooo cold in the evening and first thing in the morning. The shower/water pressure wasn't the best, however I appreciate that the camp is in the middle of a desert - but the water was hot! :) Wifi unavailable in the accommodation - however it is available in the shared tent each evening. Wadi Rum day tours are highly recommended (these are bookable by messaging the property and obviously are added costs) - the full day tour was excellent and our guide (Aslin?) was great - thank you.

The experience was AMAZING, I cannot stress it enough. I’ll try to put everything that was amazing below, but I surely will miss some: - the location : candles camp is the furthest camp in the desert, which means that you have an unbothered horizon sight over the desert. If you stay in other camps, chances are that you’ll see other camps in the view - the hospitality : Mahdi is an amazing host, speaks perfect English, has a great sense of humour, and will take the time to make you feel at home and help you to get a tailored experience that will stay with you for a long time. The food made by mostafa was also super tasty, and the Bedouin night with the songs and music were an unforgettable experience. - the room : we stayed in the room that includes a terrace and in which you have a view that is breathtaking. It is super spacious, clean, has electricity, hot water and a private bathroom. - WiFi : there is a WiFi that works very well in the common area. It won’t reach the room but I actually think it is a good thing so that you can really experience the desert unbothered by your phone. But if you need WiFi to organize the rest of you trip or to work, you definitely can (I’m pretty sure it is the only camp in the wadi rum that offers WiFi) The following is not about the camps but rather the experience. The camp is 12km away from wadi rum village so à keep will take you from the village to the camps, which takes about 15 min. Normally, they also bring you back after your stay by jeep. But if you are not in a hurry, you can only leave your luggage in the jeep and do the going back trip by foot. It took us 2h30. It was amazing, we were all alone, I really recommend it. All in all, our stay was great, thank you so much to Mahdi and his team ! I don’t know where to put it so I’ll write it here because i couldn’t find the prices of the activities before arriving so if it is helpful, I’ll share it here : - 2 night in the room for 2 people : 20JD on booking.

Best spot in Wadi Rum without a doubt. You can walk out barefoot from terrace and see the sunset or rise from your bed. The owner is very friendly and generous. Full day tour was worth the money. The tents with a view were very well designed to guarantee perfect views to rival the bubbles.

I highly recommend Wadi Rum Candles. The camp met all our expectations for a night in the desert. We slept in a tent with a private bathroom. The tent was clean and had a private terrace from which we could watch the desert, including the sunrise. I recommend purchasing a tour and dinner – you'll visit selected desert sites you wouldn't otherwise see. Dinner isn't just about food; it's a cultural experience, with campfire and music. Highly recommended. The camp is the furthest camp from wadi rum village.
