An unforgettable experience in Wadi Rum, it has been really incredible to stay at the camp and Deif Allah was a wonderful host. He was very attentive and made sure that everything was perfect. I did 4h jeep tour first day and 2h morning tour the next day before returning to the village. I would highly recommend it!!

The driver of this hotel is a fraud. Before I went there, we agreed that a 2-hour jeep tour, accommodation, dinner and breakfast, and train pick-up and drop-off would cost 50 JD. But when I arrived, he asked me for 25 JD for the train service. Seeing that there was no time to bargain, I finally paid 20 JD. I had booked the accommodation on Booking.com and it was non-refundable. Before I left, he asked me for the accommodation fee again and urged me to leave quickly, even asking if I had a good time. What a terrible experience!

“Unforgettable experience at StarCity Camp”

We had the most incredible time at StarCity Camp in Wadi Rum. I went with two friends, and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. The hospitality of the people who run the camp was truly exceptional – they treated us like family. The entire experience was unforgettable: from the delicious food, to the breathtaking desert landscapes, and the amazing activities like jeep tours and stargazing. Everything was well organized, and you could feel how much they care about making your stay special. We had so much fun and felt truly connected with the local culture and nature. I wholeheartedly recommend StarCity Camp to anyone looking for a genuine and magical Wadi Rum experience. Thank you so much to everyone at the camp – we’ll never forget you!

We had a really good stay at this camp. They cooked veg food especially for us and it was delicious. We took the 4 hour jeep tour which was amazing. Deifallah took the time to explain and tell us about the history of the places. The tents are. Good and comfortable and just behind the camp, you can climb the rock and also see a beautiful sunrise.

“Best Camp Ever”

The camp was an beautiful experience. We booked 50JD full day private jeep tour which included pickup from Wadi Rum Village. Deifullah picked us up and accompanied us throughout our tour. He was very kind and helpful while guiding the tour. Also he cooked us a lunch in the desert which was so good, once in a lifetime experience. We completed the tour with a beautiful sunset and wonderful Bedouin dinner. The rooms were worth it for a one night stay. There was no internet or network throughout however that is exactly how you experience the desert. Finally, we fell asleep watching the beautiful stars and stardust. It was surreal. I would very much recommend the camp and the experience.

This experience was amazing! Deifallah went above and beyond to make my sister and I comfortable throughout our stay. The jeep tours were really fun and we appreciated the history shared with us too. The tent we stayed in was comfortable and the food provided was great. I highly recommend this experience and would do it again! Travelling back to Amman was coordinated for us as well for a good price. I recommend Mohammad Odeh for that (+962 7 8888 3807) for the Petra/Wadi Rum/Amman transportation.

“Unforgettable experience”

- Traditional camp with bed comfortable enough, there is even electricity to charge mobile phones (and wifi access if needed but I didn’t use it) - Very clean shared-bathroom, water is cool which is perfect after a day in the desert - delicious food ( dinner and breakfast), the time near the fireplace with the owners is a great experience (tea, story about the Bedouin family, way to cook the food, etc) - I highly recommend our guide Daifallah who took us to numerous beautiful places (during a 4-hour tour which is the minimum according to me) and never looked at the watch so we could take our time to admire the view and take pictures - free shuttle from the village with a tour

“Amazing stay in Wadi Rum!”

We had a great stay at Star City Camp! Deif Allah was an excellent host and everything was really well organised. We loved the sunset jeep ride and morning camel ride. We are vegetarian and we were very well catered for. The setting and stars after it gets dark are very special - would highly recommend!
