“Feels like home”

My sixth time at Sand Star Camp and as always it was a great pleasure to spend some nights there. I love the peace and quiet the camp offers. People working there are really friendly and hospitable. Suleiman, the owner of the camp is truly devoted to his work, and he always makes sure everybody feels well and welcome in his camp. The food is great, the evening atmosphere by the fire is amazing. You can admire lots of stars in the sky, drink delicious tea and just forget about your everyday problems. The camp organizes various jeep tours, taking you to different popular spots of Wadi Rum. I recommend this camp to everyone seeking peace and quiet and good atmosphere. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning which functions during the night hours only. Wi-fi is also available in the camp. The surrounding area is really nice; you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets there. I can't wait to come back, I would really love to :)

Whole our experience in Suleman’s camp was just amazing. I have never met a host who would be more kind, nice and so welcoming. He made our stay so special! He organized for us everything we wanted, he drove us to dessert to watch stars, smoked shisha with us, watched sunset and talk about life. We spent there two nights and he became our friend. We loved every moment we could spend with him, he is so funny and amazing person! The camp itself is in perfect location, hidden between mountains, its so quiet there, everything is clean and decorated in Jordanian style. We fell in love with the place. We miss this place so much already and we can’t wait to come back! For anyone who is looking for a camp in Wadi rum, i can guarantee you that you will have the best experience here!!

The bubble tent was exquisite, neat and clean. The host Suleiman is a really nice person and made our stay memorable and comfortable. The food was one of the best I've had on my trips. Definitely in the top 2 that I'll remember forever. So much so that I had lunch and 2 dinners there. Couldn't wait for the food to be served. Honestly it's really good if you like Arabic or Indian cuisine. We had a proper local experience with most of the guests staying were all locals. We danced with them, spoke with them, they were all warm and welcoming. If you want a good wadi rum experience for a decent price I would highly recommend this stay. If you're looking for only international travelers as other guests then you won't find many. But then again we had such an awesome time we never for a second felt out of place.

The host was amazing, he took us to see the stars when we arrived and chatted with us the whole night. I really recommend coming here, beacuse of the people and location which was excellent. Same goes for the food and facilities

“Amazing experience”

Amazing place, has everything needed for your stay. Delicious dinner and breakfast, cozy atmosphere with traditional music near the fireplace in the evening. We had great Jeep tour as well. Host Suleyman was very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect – highly recommended! Our stay at Sandstar bubble in Wadi Rum was amazing. The host, Suleman, was extremely generous and kind. He speaks English and Arabic fluently, explained everything clearly, and shared interesting stories about Bedouin life and Wadi Rum and answered every question we had!He even played with my 6-year-old, which made us feel very welcome. The camp was beautiful and well located, not far from the main road. This was great, especially after seeing other camps during the jeep tour that were much deeper inside the desert. Dinner was a delicious traditional zarb, with plenty of tasty side dishes. Suleman is a wonderful host who truly deserves all the best. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wadi Rum!

“Fantastic host, peace and quiet in a spectacular setting. Don’t hesitate to book”

Suleman the manager is a wonderful host. He discretely responds to all the guests’ needs and questions and can set up activities on demand (jeep tours, stargazing, early morning drives etc). He doesn’t push and activities and is clear about the prices from the outset. Responsive communication and the pick-up was all very smooth. The food in the camp was outstanding! We did not expect to have salad in the desert and there was plenty for everyone to enjoy the buffet, followed by tea around the campfire. A really magical, memorable experience.

Suleyman is a great host and runs the property very well. We had air conditioning service all day, tasty feast for dinner, non-stop tea and a yummy breakfast. He offered to take us star gazing at night, helping us organize a jeep sunrise tour and we had a fantastic time getting to know him more. Rooms were clean and staff is super lovely. Highly recommend this spot.

“Disaster, avoid at all costs”

The location was incredible, nested in the desert and right by one of the main sunset spots in Wadi Mujib. We reached it with our own SUV after pick up at the Visitor Center. The 4x4 tour was OK, even though the guide did not provide any information during the tour itself.

“My paradise!”

An incredible, memorable fifth time at Sand Star Camp. I can't find the words to describe how well I always feel in this camp. I love waking up in the morning, going to see the sunrise and then in the evening enjoying the gorgeous sunset, followed by star gazing at night. I love the atmosphere in the camp, friendly, hospitable owner - Suleiman who always does his best to make my stay enjoyable. People working there, the food, the jeep tours - everything is amazing. It makes me want to come back again and again. I love the peace and quiet that Wadi Rum offers. Really unforgettable moments. The tents are fine, clean, there is hot water and air conditioning at night. The location of the camp is really nice as it is situated between the rocks of Wadi Rum desert. I highly recommend Sand Star Camp!
