“Disappointed.”

We booked Rum Crown, but upon arrival were directed by the host to another camp, so-called "Luxury Rum Magic" because Rum Crown was closed. Rum Magic is a mass market, tour-bus type camp, not what we had booked. The room was smaller, one less bed, no deck, awful bathroom, etc etc. So......spoiled our experience. I had to bargain with the host to reduce the charge, given this was not what we had booked, and ended up paying 50% less. But although he's a nice guy, etc, and he even drove me to Rum Crown to show it to me (it was just what we had wanted), the overall experience was pretty much wrecked.

Our tent had an excellent view and it was perfectly located. Our host Mahmoud went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay, delicious authentic home cooked meals, bespoke tour and excellent guide

Simply the best in Wadi Rum. Mahmood was a perfect host, we had a wonderful dinner and later we spent some hours with him just talking and playing with cards around the fire eating local sweets and drinking tea. The room was amazing and we also took a walk barefoot around the camp just enjoying the desert. Even if we were the only couple in the camp we enjoyed every moment. We had to spend only one night and it was not enough so we will came back for sure!

Wadi Rum and the beautiful view from my room was soo beautiufl. The lovely manager was brilliant and thoughtful and an incredible cook. Very thoughtful.

Everything was perfect!! He is a great host, so friendly with great communication skills. The room was clean with amazing view. We will definitely visit again. Thank you for the perfect experience!!

Exceptional!

Staff was super nice and dinner was very good. We saw sunrise and sunset by around 10 minutes walk from the camp. The room was cozy and water pressure was good. We joined 3 tours with them and the guide Mahmoud was the best (although he made me walk faster all the time). We had a great time there. Highly recommended.

It exceeded all our expectations! We booked at the last minute while sitting in the Visitor Center. They confirmed the reservation within moments, got in touch with us, and Ahmed was already there in the parking lot to pick us up 15 minutes later, where we left the car. It wasn't fully booked, so they upgraded our room, which was super spacious, but the view exceeded everything. They organized a jeep tour for us that same afternoon. Mahmoud was an excellent driver and tour guide; we had a really really great time. We laughed so much that our faces hurt. :) Upon returning from the tour, they welcomed us with an excellent dinner, and everyone found something to their taste. We tried everything from the vegetarian option to the super spicy salad. There was no fault in anything; we know what we're talking about as we work in gastro-marketing. :) And just when we thought our day couldn't get any better, Ahmed and Mahmoud put us in the car and took us to a nearby camp to see how the locals have fun. We ended the day with stargazing, and we've never seen anything like it in our lives. A life-changing experience. Guys, we are incredibly grateful for everything! side note: The icing on the cake was that Ahmed organized a fantastic snorkeling trip for us the next day in Aqaba. “Life changing desert experience”

Rum Crown is a gem of a stay in the Wadi Rum desert. Situated perfectly to watch the sunset. The camp is everything you could want from a comfortable tent experience. The team working there are extremely friendly and welcoming and will attend to your every need. I did the 8 hour jeep tour and truly cannot recommend it enough - it is a life changing experience. The zarb meal is a total treat. There is nothing to fault with this delightful small and friendly camp

Even with 2 small children it was really comfortable and well-equipped. Everyone at Rum Crown was extremely friendly and helpful. A lifelong experience for sure!

Stay in a traditional Bedouin hut with an insuit bathroom, enjoy the common area with a fire pit, and plenty of space for dance and laughter. Enjoy a very tasty meal prepared in a traditional way . Ahmat, Abdullah, and Mahmud will make your stay an unforgettable experience! Thank you, guys! Wish we could stay longer.

We had a great stay (2 nights) at Rum Crown. The people of the camp are very friendly and helpful. They suggested and organized nice activities that we will never forget. The food is tasty and a real experience. Amazing views!
