“Accessible family desert getaway”

Nael Camp is is a great location, having a view of the desert and rock formations but without having to drive too far out of the way - there is a sand track that leads there and someone from the camp came and showed us the way. The views are superb from the camp, and it is well situated in the rocks to give a secluded atmosphere. There was a fire and tea at night, along with a great traditional zarb dinner. Our kids had a great time wandering around the camp, and there was a train ride not too far away, allowing us to take in several activities in the area without too much hassle. The price was amazing.

Im gonna give all info for those who are searching for bubble tent experience, cuz we searched for so long and we couldn’t decide which one to take. We had bubble room here and it was all you can see on pictures. It was ready and clean for us when we arrived. Room is nice, with nice toilet, and bed was comfortable. Be aware that during the hottest period of day its hot in the room even AC is cooling it on lowest (dont be foolish to expect somewhere else is different, cuz i think its impossible to cool it, you ll have to lay in bed under AC to cool ur self). Also dont expect to have cold water all day (after all you are in desert). That “window” from the room is plastic (like everywhere else we saw) so dont expect to be able to see stars from inside the room, but youll have beautiful porch in front from where you can see stars. Staff ppl who work there are friendly and ready to help with everything. We went on stargazing (unfortunately we forgot our tour guide name, but he was rly nice), SUW ride (4h was enough for us and it was rly good) and camel ride for 1h and everything was nice and we enjoyed it. In total we had a rly good stay and you wont make mistake if you book here. P.S if you think camp is close to a road, dont worry its located behind the mountain so you wont see or “hear” road.

12 out of 10! If you want to stay in Wadi Rum, enjoy the dessert, take tours, camel riding, eat delicious bedouin style food, then Nael is the guy youu need! He does tourism with his soul and not with his wallet! We stayed here only for 1 night in our short trip to Jordan, but totally worth it! The rooms are very clean and tidy, you have heaters for the cold nights, hot water at the bathroom. Nael even got a surprise birthday cake for my wife, and did not charge me anything. Plus, because we arrived late (missed lunch), he prepared us some picnic lunch, again no extra charge. Nael and his bedouins make a great team, and does all their best too feel like you are a guest in his house and not just a tourist passing by!

Nael was very helpful in every way. All communications leading up to our arrival was responded to very quickly. Staff are also fantastic. The location of the Camp is absolutely stunning. We booked a 3-hour jeep tour and the guide was very friendly and professional. He stopped in the middle of the desert and made us Bedouin tea during sunset. We only had time for one night but would have loved to stay a couple more nights. Highly recommended.

“Great camping experience”

Nael, Abdul, and staff were very friendly, eager to help, and great company. We had the grey tent, not the bubble tent, and it had everything that we needed. The verandah out the back provided a great view. We took advantage of the 4-hour Jeep tour and made some amazing stops through the desert. The location was not too far and also provided a peaceful setting. Dinner and breakfast were great. They picked us up from the road and dropped us back to where our car was parked. Sitting around the fire after dinner and drinking tea and coffee and chatting was lovely. 🤗 Definitely recommend travelling to Wadi Rum and staying here.

Amazing experience! This really is a beautiful place, must visit! Nael and his staff are the best! You will feel right at home from the start, and if you want, the camp offers great activities for exploring the desert. We had a traditional dinner, which was great. And went on a jeep tour. If you go to Wadi Rum, this place comes highly recommended. We will definitely come back here, it has everything you need for a superb desert stay.

When choosing between the many camps in Wadi Rum I realized it's quite hard, most have amazing reviews, and I realized many seem too good to be true, e.g. I found some word-for-word repeated reviews in another camp, and I just get the feeling that there are many fake reviews around. So I'll try to be specific to convince you this one is not fake :) . I chose this camp by sorting the reviews from worst - some other camps had terrible worst reviews indicating scams, this one didn't seem bad so I picked it. Overall we enjoyed the stay very much. The staff were nice and friendly. We traveled with a child so it was great that we didn't have to book activities in advance, just talked to Nael live when we arrived and arranged everything flexibly with him - big plus. Everyone was very accommodating, e.g. my child's sunglasses broke and Nael lent us his Ray Ban. The location is as shown on Google maps. It's inside the desert but not too far from the road, but at the same time far enough. So you are not close to the road, there's no noise or anything, but at the same time you don't feel stuck in the middle of nowhere. I read about some camps where they drive you (and charge extra) - here I could drive with my rental car, and drive away if I wanted to! The location and orientation of the camp is just perfect for a sunset, and also has a good view of the Milky Way. Beautiful setting. The Martian tent looks spacious in photos but I expected it to be more cramped in real life, while it was actually spacious! Most things worked just fine, not many complaints. The activities were good - the tour guide seems to often be around the camp so I'm not sure if it's an official tour guide, nobody ever checked our Jordan pass etc. But the guy was nice, vary of us going with a child so he didn't do any crazy stuff, it was a nice pleasent ride around the desert. We also did sandboarding and a very brief (our choice) camel ride - all good.
