“first time in wadi rum”

we actually ended up staying at the hasan camp. the dinner was so good !! 5JOD shisha the shower pressure the room was a different experience I recommend staying here we did the 2 hour jeep tour which went so quick but with the heat this was enough.

Due to the currently difficult situation for tourism in the region we were the only guests at Mirage Camp and were thus re-located to the main camp Hasan Zawaideh. While initially a little bummed bout this (we had chosen Mirage Camp for its remote setting) Hasan Zawaideh turned out to be a spectacular experience for both the kids and us, and is admittedly more conveniently located if you are traveling by car. The camp is really spacious and the bubble tents are just as comfortable as a hotel room. Food is just perfect (breakfast and dinner buffet included in the price), and the camp organizes all kinds of guided tours basically on last minute basis if you want (this may be different during high season). We did a 4-hour jeep tour (with one 7 year old and one toddler) and a 1 hours sunset camel tour (toddler on camel is really not a problem). A special thanks to Hasan himself who even took us out the morning of our departure to go check out a spot we had not managed to see the days before. Besides, there are a number of things in walkable distance as well, such as a big sand dune right behind the camp. All the staff are smiling and really good with kids, which happily run around freely. Another special thanks to the "barista" who made us the very good turkish coffee and gave our 20 month old daughter Sasha a little handmade bag.

I loved the remoteness of this camp. I booked it as a place that I could unwind and enjoy the sheer magnitude of Wadi Rum as well as it's beauty and that is exactly what this camp offered. All the staff that assisted me during my trip were amazing, as well as my Jeep tour guide. Being so far out from the main visitor cente, there was a lot of driving back and forth but the transportation was always reliable and got me where I needed to be on time.

Room

Location is perfect, there are tours and plenty of activities available there. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and sleeping in the bubble was an unforgettable experience

Specially direct views of Wadi Rum dessert, it is something indescribable. We made a camel tours previous of sunset (very advisable) and jeep tour (more adventure)

So..... we didn't actually end up staying in this hotel. On the same day before heading out to Wadi Rum, I went on Booking.com to check the address of the hotel for the car's GPS. I noticed there was a message advising us that we will be transferred to Hasan Zawaideh Camp as Mirage Wadi Rum had no other guests (same owner). I kinda freaked out because I did see other reviews (for other camps) that said they didn't get the room they booked, camp was non-existent, etc. They took a while to reply, but they confirmed that we are still getting the martian tent under the same rate. The staff can barely speak English, but that was okay, they were still kind and polite. The room was fantastic. The view was breathtaking. The helped us arrange for a sunset tour with camels, and it was so serene and lovely. The guide was such a jolly person, we enjoyed every bit of it.

Food. The room. Location. Everything

Location was good with facilities on offer and good food. The staff were helpful and they accommodated us- they changed our location to this one due to a drop in numbers visiting.

We had an unforgettable experience at Mirage Camp in Wadi Rum. The hospitality was exceptional, and we got the best price for our stay. The bubble camp allowed us to enjoy stunning views of the stars and the Milky Way right from the comfort of our accommodation. Dinner was a highlight, featuring the delicious Zerb, a traditional dish that we loved. The team went above and beyond by arranging a morning sunrise experience, complete with breakfast served in the desert—a truly magical moment. Special thanks to Mahmood, our Jeep guide, who expertly guided us to the Um Furth. We couldn't have made it without his help. Overall, a fantastic stay that we highly recommend!

The location, food, the options they have given us,. We book in Mirage, but limited guests so they have given us 2 more options to stay in other camps. We chose Hasan Zawadeh Camp 2, same price, breakfast and dinner buffet was superb! and the location was one of the best we have ever been. I would love to be back here.

It is a wonderful and excellent place, excellent staff and excellent service. My wife and I enjoyed it very much and I hope to go again.
