We booked last minute this accomodation and from the first minute we felt very welcome by Matar. The accomodation is nice, comfortable and clean. It is away from the village so more remote which is perfect for stargazing. Matar invited us with his family, cooked delicious food and gave us a wonderful day tour with his jeep. He explained a lot which we appreciated!

Matar and family were so welcoming and we felt like part of the family. A real taste of the local life in an incredible place.

“Great fun and great place to stay”

We had a brilliant time in Wadi Rum and the Milky Way camp. Matar and his lovely family looked after us very well. We got to see a lot of Wadi Rum and the amazing desert scenery on a jeep tour with Matar. We also did a camel ride which was amazing. The accommodation was perfect and food was very good.

Nice room

Stay in a camp in Wadi Rum is a beautiful experience, Mater guided us in a perfect tour around the desert. Impressive scenario and we met very nice people.

Tasty food, clean tents, polite people. When I asked to warm the tent, they did everything to help me, not succesfully, but they tried.. They also gave us towels when we asked. We really enjoyed the jeep trip. We had really nice tour guide.

“Great stay in Wadi Rum”

The pick-up was well organized. We were asked to come at the pick-up point and give the estimated time of arrival. The camp was a 20 minute jeep ride removed from the pick up place. We arrived late at night and there was already a camp fire on and some tea brewing. We were encouraged to take our time to set at the fire with the rest of the people who stayed at the camp. The dinner was prepared at site and also was ecouraged to eat together with the group. The next day we went on the desert tour and that was nicely organized as well.

The location in Wadii Rum was good. It had private en suite facilities.

A luxury camp with a reasonable price tag. We stayed in a private cabin with a comfortable double bed, electricity and an ensuite. Sayed served great local food for breakfast, lunch and dinner which was some of the best we had in Jordan. We booked a half-day tour through the camp with Ali who had a great sense of humour and was very knowledgeable about what’s best to see. We loved learning about the local culture from him.

the location and the views are amazing you really in the middle of Wadi rum. The rooms are spacious and the staff is super willing to help and Said is a great cook and Ali a great tour guide.

Magical location, good food and attentive chef. We did the 2-hour jeep tour which was good.

Authentic camp, located at one of the best places in Wadi Rum Desert! Breathtaking views, own bathroom (deluxe), delicious dinner (great cook!). The great stuff offers fantastic private tours as well! Highly recommended!
