With mountain views, Blue Camel is located in Wadi Rum and has a restaurant, a kids' club, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Everything was excellent - the location of the camp is great with a great view all around. The camp is small and very cosy, especially at night. Abu Tunis, the owner is a very helpful, he made our stay unforgetable experience. The jeep trip was tailor made for our families, lots of fun - I recommend, it is worth the price.

A must stay place!! You will love every day in island camp, just tell them what you want to experience and enjoy the journey !! Take a jeep tour in wadi rum, feel the silence and have amazing time in night with star gazing.

“You get a lot for the price!”
It was a nice camp with only about 8 houses and a nice view from every direction. The host was very friendly and took us on a special tour through the desert (prices for about 10 dinar pp and per hour) Dinner was phenomenal for 10Dinar pp at that time. The camp is reachable by a standard car. The host will pick you up from the provided coordinates.

“The perfect Wadi Rum experience; absolutely recommendable!”
Our host, Abu Tunis, made our stay absolutely wonderful. He was available day and night, to cater to each and every one of our whims and wishes. He personally took out a whole day, to show us every corner of the spectacular Wadi Rum desert during a jeep tour. This included well-known places such as Lawrence's house, and the mushroom rock, but also many hidden gems, unvisited by most tourists. It is abundantly clear, that Abu Tunis loves the desert, and passionately shares his love with his guests. For us, it was the best introduction to Wadi Rum we could have hoped for. We had brought along an astronomical telescope, hoping to enjoy the famous dark skies above. Abu Tunis took us to a secluded part of the desert, only for our fun to be spoiled by a sudden onset of cloud cover. Two nights later, he drove us out again, and this time we had the perfect stargazing experience. Be sure to ask him about it, when you meet him! All in all, we had the best possible stay at Wadi Rum, and we are certain we will look back at it with fond memories for a long time to come!

Very helpful staff, answered all the questions. You can have a dinner there and host will arrange jeep tour or camel tour for you. Location is quiet, you don't see other camps from there. The view from the room is amazing and we also had hot water in the shower.

The best part was the jeep tour with our guide Abu Tunis. He was very hospitable and described everything in detail. He was kind to take many photos and videos for us and also prepared a breakfast for us in the middle of the desert at sunrise. It was an unforgettable experience! The room was also quite good and reasonable with a very beautiful view of the desert. Overall the experience was perfect! Highly recommended.

Our stay was great on every level- do not believe some negative comments. It might be that those people expected some luxury 5-star hotel, which is obviously not what this camp wants to offer. Warmly recommended!!!!

The camp is in a great location not far from the visitor centre yet situated that you feel away from the other camps. The beds are really comfortable and enough to keep you warm without a heater on a cold night. I enjoyed the hospitality making sure all your needs are met. Highly recommend

“Unforgettable”
If you are in Wadi Rum, you must stay at Island Camp. Beautiful site, stylish comfortable and very clean rooms with huge windows through which you can observe the desert or the sky, delicious food, lots of attractions offered by the host and 24/7 service. It will all make your experience unforgettable. Definitely recommended, exceeded our expectations. Thank you Abu Tunis!!

Everything. Abu Tunis is a great welcoming host and responded to all our requests from food to areangements for rooms and tours. He has a team and each one of them is great in advises but also in socializing and telling their stories. The acomodation and location is amazing. We had a blast as a group of 8 people, we socialized with the hosts and it made the whole experience a next level. We will remember this. One of the rare places I wish to come back to and recomend it highly. Thanl you all from the Island Camp!!!
