I highly recommend this desert camp (Beduin Star Trail Camp) if you want to experience a wonderful real desert adventure in the middle of the Wadi Rum desert in beautiful traditional Beduin tents with delicious food (and even dinner cooked in the sand) and warm welcome from the host Khaled and his family. You can go on great jeep desert tours with Khaled or his brother, take beautiful photos, climb amazing rock archs and desert rocks, visit the places where a lot of movies were made and even try sandboarding if you are brave enough 😁. And of course admire millions of stars!!! It is a great place with very friendly people ❤️

“Great stay at the quiet edge”

I was solo hiking for 5 days and stayed at four different camps during the time - I was very happy with all of them. The Beduin Star Trail camp is at the quiet and serene edge and very close to exploring Barrah canyon on foot or car, and overall exactly as promised. Warm shower was available as was hearty and tasty dinners and breakfast. The value for money in these camps unbeatable, just remember it is a desert so don't expect the same lever of luxury and functionality as in cities. Nights are cold so be dressed up accordingly and take the stay as a bit of an adventure. I also forgot one earphone at the camp and Khalid proactively contacted me upon finding it and arranged a meetup to return it. Thanks again for that!

“Enjoy the desert. It gives you an unforgettable experience.”

The most remarkable in the camp is its location: completely immersed in the Wadi Rum desert. This has given us silence and calm. The food has been extremely good in quality and in quantity. The personal relation with Khaled, the manager, and with the cook has been very warm. Khaled has organized very well the tours around the interesting points and the camel rides according to our wishes. Be sure to spend there, at least, three nights and more, if possible. There are so many places to see and feel!.

Great value for money. The location is perfect. Khaled and his staff are very concerned about the wellbeing of their guests. I can highly recommend this camp.

Great location close to Barrah canyon. Kaled is highly service-minded, he organised our arrival pick-up at 3am. The camp is cosy and fairly small, we enjoyed tasty local food. There's wifi.

“You cannot find the better value for money than in this establishment.”

You do not need to worry once you are in the hands of Khaled, Jihad and Ahmed. They will do everything to make you feel at home. If you like coffee, Ahmed is there for you. Khaled granted us the best room, and we enjoyed it very much. This camp is just 15 minutes from the main road, so the transport with the 4X4 vehicle is short and smooth. We thank the entire team for their friendliness and outstanding hospitality. They are all young but with proven expertise.

We had a lovely time with Khaled and his staff, we even got to see the sunrise on camelback! They were very responsive of our needs and incredibly kind.

The people were fantastic and very welcoming. The food was great, the room was clean and the staff entertained us. The owner also gave us a free ride in the desert, which would usually cost a lot. I highly recommend it.

Location is amazing - the camp is large and quiet. Far away from the rest. Rooms are comfortable. Value for money is great. Khaled, jihad and ahmed have been very hospitable.

“A "must have" experience”

The environment: there aren't other camps around, so is like more private. Also, the dinner was really amazing, you could repeat as much as you wanted and the cooking method they used was super interesting (and healthy!) Room and dinner/breakfast tents were really cozy, clean and comfy. Khalid was really thinking about our comfort and always asking how was everything, even night before we were going to stay in his camp he was writing us to schedule perfectly our pick up. In few words, I totally recommend it!

It's was relatively fast decision to travel to Jordan. Camping selection was almost random and really successful! We felt as visit family. We were surrounded by attention and care all the time. We got a lot of help with our trip planning and organization. The timing was precise, we really enjoyed our short vacation and nothing bothered it. Definitely we will be back to Khaled's camp.

Beautiful location. Evening BBQ was great, khalid and his brother very helpful and can organise everything you need.

The Jeep tour was really good, Khaled knows very well the desert as a true local. The experience is really genuine, at the night is also possibile to see easily the milky way. Highly recommended. We hope to come back soon

The breakfast was consistent and traditional. I was amazed at how the dinner was cooked. This was also hearty and delicious. I strongly recommend spending several days at Khalid's Beduin Authentic Camp. Thanks to Khalid for the hospitality and the transfer to Aqaba and to his brother for the beautiful trip through the desert! Thanks also to Nassar for the delicious breakfast prepared. I will definitely come back for more days in this special place in Wadi Rum.
