Stayed for 3 nights at Bedouin Memories Camp and had the most amazing time. Ali was really easy to coordinate everything with before we arrived, including pre-arranging tours / transfers and agreeing the price. When we arrived, Mohammed (Ali's younger brother) and Jazeera took such good care of us. He made us feel at home, and took us on a couple of tours which we really enjoyed. We did the full day Wadi Rum tour including sunset, and then a half day tour of the White Desert which included a stop at their family camp. Breakfast and dinner was included and every meal was delicious. There was also a never ending supply of fresh hot tea. We even got treated to a special meal cooked in the underground oven. The tent was nice, with comfortable beds and the shared bathroom was great, and the showers had hot water. The location of the camp is also great, with not many other camps close by. One morning we even had a visit from a herd of camels passing through the camp, including babies!

Mohamed and Gachi were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. We visited during the off-season, yet they did everything possible to make our stay special and comfortable. Be prepared that it can get really cold at night during this period – we highly recommend asking for an extra blanket right away. The food was very special, authentic and absolutely delicious! This was genuinely one of the most memorable trips of our lives. We would choose this place and these wonderful people again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

“Amazing experience”

We had an amazing experience in Bedouin Memories Camp! We were picked up from Wadi Rum Village with 4x4. If you book some tour with them, the pick up is free. Otherwise you need to pay additional 20 JD per person for the transportation to the camp. We chose full day tour from 9 am till sunset including lunch for 60 JD per person. Our guide Salam was great and spoke english very well. In the camp there is breakfast and dinner included. Both were really good. I am very happy that we stayed two night because 1 night wouldn't be enough. All the people working the the camp were amazing!

Mumammad, our tour guy was amazing, kind, knowlendagble. He made an unforgetabble day for us, thank you! They served us amazing food, the accomodation is really cozy, the big tent where we ate is beutiful! I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Location and some of the staff were amazing, especially Ali.

It is a nice and basic beduin camp, exactly what we were looking for. The tents are nice, with comfy beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We also liked the breakfast and dinner that they cooked for us in the camp. We have booked 2 day trips with them which we both enjoyed a lot! Thanks to Ali, Mohamed and Abdel!

Perfect for one night, you can't get more for so little money

Super friendly and accomodating staff and the best price in Wadi Rum for jeep tour! They are happy to adjust tour schedule to suit our needs. The tent is very clean, simple but cozy. Really good location in the desert - very inside, not near other camps, so very quiet and no light pollution, got to enjoy the desert at night with Milky Way.

The stay was so peaceful, and you can even climb the mountain just behind the camp for a beautiful sunset view. The food was amazing, and our tour and guide were absolutely fantastic!

What I liked the most about this place was its authenticity, owners are from real beduin family, told us everything we wanted to know during the nights campfire after great dinner. Its located in beautiful quite place next to mountains on the dessert. You will probably want to have tours, water, food and transportation through the dessert. These things are not included (maybe expect water) in the price on booking in any of the camps in Wadi Rum, you always have to pay for it extra, but I think this place had one of the best prices for all of these, everything we agreed on (tours, transportation…) was delivered for the price we agreed on. We will definitely stay again next time!

“Clean, friendly and flexible staff.”

It was very cold in the tent. But of course it is cold in the night at a desert.

This experience was the pinnacle of my Jordan trip. It was easy to book and coordinate pickup withAwad, and the day tour was stellar. Our guide was knowledgeable and very funny. The camp itself is wonderful. I could not believe how nice the bathroom was - it is in the middle of the desert and rivaled the cleanliness and quality of hostels we stayed at in cities. The dinner was also delicious, and counting shooting stars by the fire was a magical end to the evening. ShukranAwad!

We had the best time in the desert. Everyone was so friendly, the location THE BEST and no wifi/connection is so peaceful. “Highlight of our time in Jordan!”

A wonderful experience from start to finish. We were met in the village and driven to the camp, which isn’t far. We stayed 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners. The latter was particularly good, especially the roast chicken! We did the full day 4x4 tour on the middle day which was the highlight of our time in Jordan, even outdoing Petra! Omar, our driver, chef and guide, was wonderful. The beds in the hut were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend using this camp site.
