Our host Jarbi was lovely and He had many good stories to tell us and him being a guide had many tips for us to experience Petra. The property was very close to many restaurants. Our host offered a home cooked meal as well which we could not take advantage of because of our Petra schedule. Would recommend this place for a fuss free, comfortable stay.

“Nice place good located in Wadi Mousa”

This accomodation in an old family home renovated in a guest house with 3 bedrooms, a living ans a kitchen is convenient and good located in the center of Wadi Mousa up 1 km from Petra visitors center. The owner knows a lot about the place and provides good advice for visiting

“A great spot for a night or two in Wadi Musa to visit Petra!”

We were a group of 3 female friends, staying in Wadi Musa to visit Petra. We arrived around 9pm at the property and our host's son Hamza was waiting for us to show us the room and make sure we had everything we needed. Hamza also helped us to plan the next morning for horse riding in Petra itself for the cost of 40 JOD for 2 hours. It is a small room but had everything we needed for a nights sleep, a nice warm room and a clean bathroom, WIFI, as well as including drinking water and a common kettle in the entrance way for making tea or coffee. In the morning, our host came to see us and spent some time giving us his family history and the story of the property. It was really nice to talk to him and we were sorry we did not have more time to spend together to learn more from the locals. Unfortunately we did not have time to eat at Petra Downtown House, but they are able to make you breakfast or dinner. We had our own car, there was space to park in front of the entrance. Our host sent us a video directions of how to find the entrance the day before so it was very easy to find. It took us 5 minutes to drive down to the Petra Visitor Centre entrance from there. At night we walked to the centre where you can find souvenirs and plenty of options for eating. As a single group of ladies, we felt very safe walking around in the evening. Room was good with shared living space and fridge. Owner was friendly and we ate a local dinner at his house (10 JOD each) with his family during the sunset which had a beautiful view of the city. Owner was available to answer all of our questions through whatsapp before and during stay.

The guy that greet as was super friendly and helpful even he said he would ride us to Petra visitor center but the after that charger us 5JD. and didn't tell that beforehand we agreed to the ride but he was so nice that he made me special breakfast because of my food restrictions and the breakfast was really big and tasty. I liked the room decoration it was painted a while ago. The location is good and it is only 1,5km away from Petra visitor center but in Wadi Musa there is lot of uphills.
